Chapter [32]

Author's pov; 

"Head Alpha of Ember pack and his son are here to meet you, Alpha Kim." A beta told Hyun Tae, bowing and leaving shortly as the said guest entered the house. 

Yoongi and everyone stood up from their respective places. Hyun Tae breathed in a little and put on a smile. "Alpha Park, you didn't have to come." 

The head of the Ember pack smiled, warm as summer, "You are my friend, Kim. I have to visit you regardless of the argument we had a few days ago. How are you?" 

Hyun Tae smiled. "I've fully healed." 

The son of Ember's pack's son was looking around, blinking his eyes in confusion. There's a frown on his face. 

"Alpha Park." Yoongi stepped up and bowed. "Oh, young man. It's been a long time since we met." Alpha Park chuckled. 

"Please have a seat." Jimin gestured toward the sofas with a smile as Hoseok scooped their daughter from the crib and bowed. 

The Parks nodded, smiling. "This is my son, Park Bogum." Alpha Park introduced his son who smiled and bowed his head to the Lunas. 

Jimin and Hoseok smiled, bowing back. The alphas immersed themselves in their alpha talks as the Lunas went to the kitchen. 

Hoseok sat by the counter, keeping Ji-Eun on his lap. "Isn't this Park Bogum the supposed spouse of our Tae?" He wondered. 

Jimin hummed, pouring juice into glasses. "Dad and Alpha Park got into a big argument a few days ago. I didn't think they would ever come after being denied the marriage." He went over to some cabinets and took out some packets of snacks. 

"Uncles!" Lilly came running to them. They laughed, noticing her messy hair. "Lilly, I suppose you were playing with mama's hairdryer again right?" Jimin bent his upper body to Lilly's level, hands on knees, smiling teasingly. 

Lilly giggled sheepishly, gums on display,  "Hehe." 

Ji-Eun tugged Hoseok's sleeve and pointed at Lilly. Hoseok laughed, "Yes, baby. Lilly noona." 

"Eunie!" Lilly squealed over Hoseok's side. Ji-Eun giggled, clapping her tiny hands. 

"I'll give these to guests," Jimin said, taking the tray in his hands as Hoseok nodded and he made his way out. 

"Lilly. Appa was saying you are hungry!" Leo shouted, coming down the stairs, not realizing the adult alphas in the living room he straight ran to the kitchen. All were staring at him. The Head of Ember Pack with curiosity and his son in confusion. 

"Who is he?" Alpha Park asked. "My grandson." Hyun Tae smiled at the other alpha. "Huh? Never knew you had a grandson. How old is he? And whose son?" 

Bogum watched Leo, his gaze lingering even when the little omega was out of his sight. 

"That's a long story," Yoongi said. Bogum blinked and brought his gaze over the Young Head and then stared down at his hands.

Yoongi told them everything. Even the adoption part. 

"So Jeon is now Leo's father. And Jeon is your soon-to-be son-in-law. For him, your son rejected my son." Alpha Park hummed, amused. "Appa, not again." Bogum winced. 

"Oh shush." Alpha Park shushed his son, "It's not like Ember pack had any grudge against Jeon. He had never hurt any of my pack. And by knowing he had saved Leo and Lilly and helped Yoongi in saving your entire pack, this is what a true alpha is. I'm honestly impressed. After all, those old folks are false just like I thought."
