Lately, Taehyung had been silent most of the time. Jungkook noticed it without missing a beat. He watched the 6-months pregnant omega looking after the pups who were playing in the field with their grandpa, Hoseok and Jimin. 

Taehyung was sitting on the ground with sleeping Jieun in his arms. A small smile on his face. But Jungkook could tell his omega was upset about something but wasn't sharing it with him.

He slowly made his way toward the omega and sat beside him. "The view is very beautiful from here." 

Taehyung jolted and looked at him with a blink. Jungkook flashed a toothy grin. The omega smiled softly, "Yeah." He looked back ahead. "The way the color of the sky reflects like in a canvas. This is breathtaking." Jungkook whispered in his ears. 

It made the omega gasp softly at the realization that his alpha was talking about him, complimenting him. Taehyung looked at him. 

"You are looking majestic. I want to devour you right now." Jungkook chomped on Taehyung's cheek. Taehyung gasped, slapping him on his shoulder. "Shut up. We are with the family. Someone might hear you, especially the kids." He glared at him, adjusting Jieun in his arms. 

Jungkook grinned, "There my beautiful Taehyung. You can't blame me when you are sitting so gorgeously." He bumped his forehead against the omega's. The omega's mood suddenly became gloomy again. The smile on Jungkook's face was wiped out. "What's wrong?" He asked, putting a hand under the omega's big belly. 

There was a hesitation before the omega whispered, "It's nothing." 

"You know you can tell me anything," Jungkook said, scooting closer, thumbs gently stroking his belly. He could feel the gentle movements under his palm. 

Taehyung glanced at him and shook his head, "It's nothing." He removed the alpha's hand from his belly and slowly stood up, "I'll take a walk. You go play with others." He gave a small smile and walked away with Jieun. 

Jungkook stared after him, he could feel the omega's distress through their mating mark. And even so, he was not able to help his omega was making him feel so terrible.

It was night. Jimin and Hoseok had left when Yoongi came to pick them up with a promise they'll be back tomorrow. Taehyung was putting oil on his belly when Jungkook entered their room.

Jungkook noted the way Taehyung covered his belly as soon as he came but remained silent. He walked straight to the wardrobe and opened it and pretended to look for clothes while recalling the past few days since Taehyung started to look distressed. He remembered one-time Taehyung shouted at him when he offered to help him shower, later the omega gave an excuse that it was just his hormones. Jungkook closed the wardrobe with a sigh and looked over his shoulder to see the omega was already under the blanket. 

As if he didn't know that the omega wasn't fond of blankets nowadays. With a sigh, he walked over to the omega's side and stared. Taehyung had his eyes closed but there was no hiding that he was faking. Jungkook knew better. He bent down and pressed a kiss to his cheek. "Good night, my love." He whispered and pressed another kiss on his crown head. 

Jungkook walked over to his side of the bed and then lay down and stared at the white ceiling. 

Taehyung opened his eyes, hand on his belly. Then he felt the alpha shuffling close to him and heard a faint 'I love you' being mumbled against his shoulder blade. He bit his lips when the alpha put his hand atop of his that was over his belly. 

The night went away as the sun rose in the sky and Taehyung was still sleeping. Jungkook placed a finger over his lips. Leo and Lilly nodded as they tiptoed and climbed on the bed.
