Chapter [33]

Author's pov; 

There's a blue light coming from the bottom of the tree. 

Jungkook walked closer to it. He could feel a soft pull, forcing him to go toward the light. He gasped upon seeing that there was a baby wrapped in a white blanket. 

He knelt, gently scooping the baby in his arm. He wondered what the baby was doing there, all alone. Jungkook smiled, noticing there was a mole under the baby's eye just like how his omega had one. 

Jungkook caressed the baby's cheek and cooed as the little bean's eyes opened and blinked up at him. There's a crimson glint in the baby's eyes which had the true blood freezing on his spot. 

"Appa." 

Jungkook shot up from his sleep, breathing heavily as he looked around. It was a dream. A dream. He never had a dream of something like that. He gripped his head, groaning at the shooting pain spreading in his skull. 

"Appa!" 

The true blood flinched, wide eyes settling on the door, alert.  

Leo paused in his track, the smile on his face dropping after seeing the horrified expression of his father. While Jungkook relaxed upon seeing Leo. 

"Appa? Are you okay?" The little omega asked, hesitant. Jungkook smiled as he nodded and motioned him to come closer. 

Jungkook lifted Leo onto his lap as soon as the little omega climbed up the bed. "I'm okay, pup. Just had a dream." He nuzzled his nose on his neck. 

Leo giggled, backing away. "Appa, it tickles." But the true blood just smiled and nuzzled more, earning more giggles from the pup. 

"Stop, appa." Leo giggled, pushing his head up. Jungkook looked at him with his tender gaze. "TaeTae told me to wake you up, appa." The little omega told. 

Jungkook smiled, "Is that so?"

Leo nodded his head, "Yes. He said we will leave in about three hours so get ready. I and Lilly already had our breakfast. TaeTae made blueberry muffins for me." He grinned. 

"You must've feasted on it, right?" Jungkook kissed his nose tip. Leo giggled, shaking his head. "No, no. I saved some for Nana, Lilly, and you." 

"That's so thoughtful of you. Nom." Jungkook mouthed on Leo's cheeks playfully. The little omega squirmed, bursting out in laughter. 

"TaeTae is waiting for you, appa. Get up fast." Leo said in between his laugh. 

"Did TaeTae eat breakfast?" Jungkook asked, pulling away. "No, appa. So come down fast!" Leo said, climbing off his father's lap and then the bed.  

Jungkook chuckled, "Okay. Okay. Tell TaeTae to serve. I'll be down in 10 minutes." 

Leo nodded and ran out of the room. Jungkook sighed and stared down at his hands, recalling the dream, the baby. He heaved out another sigh and got off the bed to shower. 

"Petal." Jungkook hugged the pregnant omega from behind. Taehyung was serving food on the plates and gasped when Jungkook hugged him. 

"Alpha." He let out a startled noise. 

Jungkook just kissed his neck. 

Taehyung smiled, resuming his work but a frown soon itched on his face when Jungkook hugged him tighter and started nosing his neck, scenting him. "What's wrong, alpha?" He asked, putting a hand over the true blood's hands. 

Jungkook shook his head, not wanting to talk about the dream yet he, himself, couldn't stop thinking. It's frustrating. 

"Had a bad dream?" Taehyung presumed, rubbing his thumb over Jungkook's knuckles. The true blood tensed up for a moment and it gave the omega his answer.
