ANGGE

"Luna! Where are you?"

Why is Gayle yelling this early? It's just six in the morning. Now, I won't be able to fall asleep again. I just sighed and hopped off my bed. I want to see what Gayle is up to but I brushed my teeth first before going out. I don't want to talk to her with my mouth probably smelling like shit.

"Luna? Come on, where are you?" She yelled again. That dog is really naughty. Yesterday, she almost gave me a heart attack. She's just lucky she's so adorable and her owner is Gayle so I already forgave her.

When I got out of my room, my heart almost drop when the dog I was talking about just now, popped in front of me. Damn, she's at it again.

"Luna? What are you doing here? Your mom's looking for you," I said while picking her up. How did she even get in here? She just licked my face which made me giggle. Man, that tickles.

"Come on, let's bring you to your mom. She's probably worried sick. Don't do this again, alright?" She barked as if she were replying. I patted her head before we head out of the house.

As soon I opened the door, I saw Gayle going around the neighborhood looking for her missing dog who turned out to be inside my house—I mean the Abby's house since this isn't mine.

"Gayle!" I called her which made her look in my direction looking so confused. Then I realized that she forgot about me again. I'm telling you, this could be frustrating but for some reason, I don't seem to mind at all.

"Who are you? Why do you know my name? Why do you have Luna? Did you take her?" She asked accusingly. To be honest, I got a bit offended but I reminded myself that she don't mean what she was saying. It's just because she doesn't remember me.

"This is going to be the third time but Gayle, I'm Angelica Jhane and you can call me Angge. I am your neighbor by the way. The reason why I have Luna is that I found her inside. Don't ask me how because I also have no idea how she got in. And I am not the type of person that steals someone else's pets," I said as I put Luna down. He immediately ran to his owner soon after.

"I—you got a cute name but still, I don't remember having a neighbor," She said awkwardly. Maybe she regrets accusing me earlier. Ah, she's adorable.

"You actually said that yesterday as well."

"I said what?" She asked quizzically. She really looks so adorable when she's confused.

"That my name is cute. We are actually friends, Gayle. Well, at least that's what I think." I scratch my nape shyly.

"How can you prove that we're friends or some sort of?"

"Well, you already saw one proof. You said that Luna doesn't like strangers but you saw us get along well didn't you? That's because I spent yesterday at your place. Also, I know that you have a bad case of short-term memory loss," I said and she gasped.

"Why do you know? Are we really friends?" She asked, but this time I saw that her doubts were slowly fading away.

"You told me about it yesterday. You even took care of me because I almost had an attack, I want to thank you for that by the way," I said and smiled at her.

"I did?" She asked as she tilted her head adorably. Aw, she's really cute, it's making me want to pinch her cutie cheeks right now.

"Yeah, do you believe me now?" I asked. Then she replied saying, "You're good at convincing but I still have doubts." She even shrugged her shoulders.

"It's okay, I understand but I really hope we'll get along well every day, even just for a month," I smiled at her genuinely.

"A month?"
