You'll see '~' throughout the story, they are intended as time skips between scenes. Enjoy! <3I burned myself with hot water earlier during my shift. I had put a bandaid on it hoping it would soothe it, but it only made it worse. Ignoring it, I started to prepare the last coffee of tonight's shift, my dads.
"Don't forget to take off your work apron Vi!", my coworker Cami yelled from the break room.
"Thanks Cami, I already did". I made my way out of the cafe. My feet were killing me running around the cafe, it was extra busy today with all the businesses surrounding us. Luckily, my dad only worked a couple blocks away from where I worked.

When I arrived, I could see my dads back by the front desk of the building through the glass. I tapped on the glass until he turned around. I showed him the coffee I brought him and he walked toward me to open the door.
"Vi, I don't know what i'd do without you!" He said.
"Me or the coffee?" We both laughed."You wanna come in? Everyone should be gone by now. It's pretty late and cold outside."
"Actually, do you think I could use the restroom? I forgot to at work and I don't wanna have an accident on the bus going home..."
"Of course you can mija! Let me go take you up the elevator."
He grabbed the keys and we headed up the elevator to the tenth floor. He showed me the way to the restroom and unlocked it.
"When you're done just make sure to lock it and when you're coming back down the elevator make sure to press G for ground level."
"Got it, thanks dad". He headed back down the elevator to his post.

I did my business and freshened up a bit in front of the fancy mirror inside the restroom. I noticed how frizzy my curly hair was in the braid I had put it in for work. I let down my hair and brushed it with my finger tips with a bit of water. My hand was still in a bit of pain from the hot water I spilled earlier. I put some chapstick on it to help soothe the pain a bit. I grabbed the collar from my blouse up to my nose. It smelled just like coffee beans...I used to love the smell of coffee walking into cafes but now I'm just tired of it.
As I walked out of the restroom, I locked the door behind me. I continued to walk around the corner of the hallway when I bumped into something hard. Suddenly there was a BURNING SENSATION COMING FROM MY CHEST... it smelled like coffee. A tall man wearing a dark navy blue suit with a black tie stood in front of me with a worried expression.
He wore glasses and a black shoulder holster under his coat.
"A-Are you alright?!?!" He exclaimed. He rustled around searching his pockets for napkins and gently pressed them on my chest.
"Just my luck, this is the second time today..." I said as I pressed the napkins onto my white blouse.
"I wasn't looking at where I was going...didn't think anyone would be around here this late...sorry miss"
As I continue pressing the napkins onto my blouse, I noticed him conceal his eyes a bit with his hand.
"Um hey miss...I don't mean to come off as forward or anything, but your blouse ...you might wanna-"
I quickly turned my back to him. MY BLOUSE WAS COMPLETELY TRANSPARENT. I felt my face get all warm and red.
"It's all my fault...here take this." He took off his coat, gently placing it over my chest.
