!Author's Note!:
This chapter will be back in Vi's pov and Micah's pov. There will be an author's note indicating pov shifts.
A quick reminder that '~' throughout the story is intended as time skips. When quotes are in Italics, it's intended as the character's thoughts. Enjoy! <3!Beep!Beep!Beep!
"Morning already? I gotta get ready for my shift.", Vi says in her low morning voice.
She gets her clean work clothes from her closet, while dragging her feet toward the bathroom to shower.
As she undressed to get into the shower, she glanced down at her hand.
"It's not burning as much anymore, it looks less pink compared to two days ago... Two days ago feels like a dream...", She found herself thinking, as she rinsed under the steaming shower head.
She thought about that night with Micah as she quickly shook the thought away and turned the shower head off, wrapping a towel around herself.
She finished getting ready and headed off to work.

"Good morning Vi!", exclaimed Cami as she tightened her work apron around her waist behind the counter.
"Good morning Cami" replied Vi still in her low morning voice.
"Looks like we'll be pretty busy today, there's a big convention across the street from us.", Cami said as she pointed out the window.
"Another busy day at work without seeing him again...", Vi thought as she exhaled deeply.
She became flustered at her thought and continued to prepare for her shift.

"Hey Vi, we got a few coffees to deliver, do you mind dropping them off? I would go but I'm training the newbie with refreshers.", Cami explained.
"Yeah sure, what's the drop off location?", Vi asked as she took off her work apron.
"It's two blocks down, I think it's where your dad works, Here have a look", Cami said as she showed Vi the online order placed.
"Ah, it is! I got it then, my dad should be there.", Vi replied as she prepared the orders to deliver.
"Maybe I'll even see Micah" Vi thought to herself.
Realizing what she just thought about, her cheeks became warm.
She went on finishing up the order and made her way out.

As she entered the building, she scanned the lobby looking for her dad. She noticed there was a different security guard at the main desk.
"Excuse me is security Mani working today by any chance?" Vi asked the security guard.
"Not today, it's his day off. Can I leave him a message for you miss?" He asked kindly.
"Oh, it's okay I was just wondering. I'm actually his daughter" she replied.
"Ahh I see, are you delivering those here" He asked as he looked down at the coffee she was holding.
"Yeah actually I was wondering where I could drop these off?"
"You can take the elevator up to the tenth floor, make a left and it will be the first door you see. The meeting should be done by now."
