darkness....
Sinking and sinking...
Into an endless darkness...
It was cold and warm at the same time...
It was like I was at the bottom of the sea, where light can't reach. And I was just sinking into its depths.
There was nothing in this bottomless ocean.
It was just me and me alone. I wonder how much time has passed?
Wait, is that.... Light?
At the surface of this bottomless ocean, there was a shining light. Follow it, a voice whispered. But no matter how much I stretched my arms I couldn't reach it.
I tried swimming towards it instead, my limbs felt heavy as I force them to push myself towards the surface. It was like I was moving through mud.
Swimming and swimming up towards the surface. Without pause, I continued to follow the light.
But.
The closer I got to the light the more I lose the 'feel' of my own body.
Its hard to explain but, it was as if my own body was shutting down.
It started with one of my toes...
Then it extended from my foot to my legs...
Then my right arm...
My left arm quickly followed next...
It didn't take long before my senses started shut down as well...
I couldn't feel the warm or cold anymore, meaning I lost my sense of touch first...
There was nothing here in the first place so I couldn't hear or smell anything, but I could tell I lost them as well...
The only thing left was my sense of sight....
But even that wasn't spared..
As my vision slowly disappears.
So those the light.

—————————————————Gasp—!
Sucking in a cold breath of air, as my hand reaches for something that isn't there. I slowly open my eyes only to see—
"A unfamiliar ceiling...?"
No, I didn't say that because I've always wanted to. Maybe, anyway the ceiling I always see first thing in the morning is replaced with an unfamiliar one.
And not just my ceiling.
"What the...?"
Observing my outstretched hand as I slowly got up the bed I found myself in, I realized just how different it was.
My skin tone was more of a milky white, my fingers and arm was more slender then what it should be, and the scar I had wasn't there. Its an entirely different arm.
The change didn't stop at my arm though.
"My... Voice?"
It wasn't the deep and scary voice I was used to, but a soft and sweet one, and it was more husky and slightly baritone at the same time.
Wait.
"Don't tell me... "
I quickly touch my head and face to check if anything had changed.
