I was driving back to my house, the rain from yesterday left puddles on the ground but didn't do much of a difference. It was raining again that's why.

My thoughts swirled around Jaime. I hadn't seen him at all since last night.

Where the hell is he?

Then my thoughts went to Kellin. Thank god it was Charlie who was at the door. It's too risky for us to do shit like that at work. But then again, the risk is what makes it worth it.

It's thrilling. The idea of getting caught that is. I don't want to get caught. Never. But I knew the consequences of this whole ordeal when I shook Kellin's hand.

As I pulled up into the driveway of our worn out house my phone started vibrating. Someone was calling me.

"Hello?" I said, not bothering to check who it was.

"Yo, Vic! It's Eddie, why'd you hang up on me like that last night man?" Eddie's voice held a twinge of disappointment but other then that annoyance.

"Sorry man, Jaime had come in. But what're you calling for?" When Eddie spoke again his voice was back to normal, no sighs of anger detected.

"Your fight's tomorrow, at eleven o'clock sharp. Be there, I don't wanna look bad in front of the other guys." The other guys were thugs and pimps. Really, all the sleaze bags hung there to watch the fights.

Mostly sketchy people go there. Them and real agents who're looking for fighters, I've had a couple approach me before. But I declined.

Eddie was in with all the crowds, he wasn't a bad person or a sketchy one at that. He was just really well known. He never had problems with people as far as I know.

"Yeah, totally man. I got it. Wednesday, eleven sharp. I'll be there." He briefly addressed me about how much this round was worth and about who would be watching.

"This could be real big for you man, don't fuck it up." Eddie's voice held a small amount of sincerity in it. He had always wanted me to go big. He actually saw me fighting, not underground, but in real arenas. Places where I wouldn't get arrested.

"I know. Hey look Eddie, I'll talk to you later. I gotta go." We said our goodbyes and then hung up.

I was in my room, still no sign of Jaime. I hope he wasn't kidnapped or something. My phone buzzed again, this time I had a voicemail.

I didn't hear my phone ring before, maybe I should take it off vibrate.

"Hey babe, it's Jaime. Sorry I haven't been home all day. I miss you, I'm just calling to tell you I love you and I won't be home until tomorrow morning. Bye." The message was short and sweet.

But why the hell couldn't he be here? Does this have to do with his job?

My phone vibrated once again and I was just about ready to smash it against the wall.

It was Kellin and he had messaged me.

Hey I'm still horny from this morning can I come over? -K

His message was short and to the point. After almost getting caught by Charlie I denied Kellin and actually did my work. I typed back a quick reply.

Why can't I just go over your house? -V

He responded almost instantly and I smiled. I don't like to be put on hold. It's a pet peeve. I waited for a bit to reply which is kind of hypocritical since I don't like waiting. I needed to get out of this clothes.

I decided to call since I was changing and I didn't want him to think I bailed on him.

"Why can't we just go over your place?" I asked again and there was mumbling on the other line.
