Chapter Eight

I told Kellin to wait in the car and I threw him the keys. He caught them luckily and went straight to the car.

The guys were getting rougher with the girl and they started pushing and shoving her. Then, one of them grabbed her wrist and they tried taking off her coat.

They were going to take things further, I just knew it, so, I jumped in immediately.

"Is there a problem here?" They all jumped in fear and the girl looked at me with wide eyes, tears brewing in her eyes.

Her hair was a bit frizzy and her coat was slowly slipping off her small frame.

"Fuck you man, why don't you just walk away and pretend you never saw any of this, okay?" One of them said. There was a total of three of them, I could easily take down each one.

"Why don't you fuck off and leave her alone?" I said through gritted teeth.

The girl clearly recognized me, but the guys still had no clue. To bad for them.

I stepped towards the three of them, one of them instinctively grabbed the girl and the other two stepped forward and came towards me.

One of them swung at me and I ducked and hit him in the stomach. He doubled over in pain as the other swung at my face and I swiftly moved to the left.

I swung and hit him in the face with my fist as his head turned back, a small 'crack' audible.

The other one got up and I continued my attack on him. I grabbed him by the collar and hit him repeatedly with my fist until he stopped trying.

He laid on the concrete floor groaning in pain and the other one was still down so I kicked him in the stomach once and looked at the last guy who was holding back the girl.

His eyes held shock and fear as he pushed the girl towards me and ran.

"Guess I don't have to deal with him." I said chuckling. The girl looked up at me and thanked me before I offered her a ride.

"Yeah, a ride would be... great." She looked back at me again hesitantly before she caught me off guard.

Her lips pressed to my cheek and I lightly pushed her back by her shoulders. I could hear Kellin laughing in the car and she turned to look at him in embarrassment.

"Sorry, but, uh, I'm gay." I said smiling.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry. Is that your boyfriend in the car?" She said sheepishly as she pointed towards where Kellin was.

I wasn't sure how to answer but in the end I nodded my head 'yes'.

"I'm so stupid. And I kissed you in front of him, fuck my life." I laughed as I led her to the car. Kellin's laughter soon died down too once she sat in the backseat.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't know he was your boyfriend. I didn't even know he was gay, sorry for kissing him. Like, don't blame him blame me." Kellin looked at me as she was rambling and raised an eyebrow. A smirk slipped it's way onto his face and I rolled my eyes at him.

"No worries, my boyfriend gets that a lot." He was going to have fun with this, I could just tell. He enunciated on boyfriend as he looked at me with a smug smile on his face.

"Ignore him, please." I said to the girl.

"What's your name by the way, and where do you want me to drop you off?" I questioned her as she froze and suddenly remembered why she was in my car.

"Oh yeah, my name's Andrea, but my friends just call me Andy. I have no idea why, probably just to tease me. Oh, and I'm headed to 2653 Ridge-wood Avenue." Andy? That's interesting.
