Maxine walks out of the bathroom and crawls into bed, next to her fiancé who was on his phone. She looked over at him, who was really concentrating on the screen in front of him so she decided to straddle his lap and take his phone from his hands and set it on the night side table.
"Maxine" he said, sternly, placing his hands on her hips. Maxine sticks out her bottom lip, "babbyyyy"
Maverick sighed, he loved that she did that but also hated it because she knows that she can get whatever she wanted, "yes my love"
"You sure you wanna get married to me?"
Maverick tilts his head to the side in confusion, "of course I do, baby. It's me and you, you understand? Me and you forever" he cups her cheeks and brings her in for a kiss.
"If we do this, you gotta promise me, you're not going anywhere"
"I'm not going anywhere. I promise"
Maxine leans in for another kiss as Mavericks hands side up and down her back when Maxine's phone starts ringing to sees Jays contact and she ignores it but then it goes off again.
Maxine sighs and answers it, "yeah, what's up?"
"You gotta meet me down at Med. Platts down here. She's been in an accident"
"What?" Maxine said, immediately getting off her fiance and starts getting dressed, "I'll be right there"
"Maxine, what's going on?"
"It's the desk sergeant in my district. She's been in an accident. I gotta go down to med"
"You want me to come with you?"
"No, it's okay. Stay here. I'll call you later, I love you" she says, rushing to grab her gun and badge and heads out.

"Hey" Hank says, walking into med after finding out that Trudy was attacked outside of her fathers home. Maxine and Jay walk over to Hank and Bishop says, "she's in surgery with Dr Rhodes. We don't know for how long"
"Antonio's setting up a grid at Beckett and Fremont. There was one witness but we don't know how much he saw" Jay explains.
