Chapter 4

I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock blaring...
"Ugh...."
"Sammy... It's time to wake up" mom said entering my room.
"No, I don't wanna!"
"Tanner will be here pretty soon... You gotta get up"
Ugh... Tanner.
I immediately begging thinking about last night...
Then realize I HAVE to get up.

So, I get up... Heading to the bathroom.
After i take a shower, I brush my teeth, do my makeup, and straighten my hair.
I head to my bedroom, and start looking for something to wear.
I end up picking out my favorite American eagle jeans, a flowy white tank top with pink flowers on it, along with my white saddles. And to top it off, a pink and white flower crown... Perfect!
I grab my book bag and purse putting all my things along in it, walking downstairs.
"Morning honey, you look beautiful today... Like everyday" mother says smiling as I entered the kitchen.
"Thanks"
"Want anything?"
"Sure"
She quickly makes my plate, which consists of a blueberry muffin, a banana, and a bowl of oatmeal. Along with some orange juice.

After I was done, I got a text from Tanner.

BABY😘: good morning gorgeous, I'm about 5 minutes away, just checking if you were up&ready.
Me: Good morning to you too handsome... Yes, I'm awake, and ready. I just had some breakfast... You wanna come inside and have some when you get here?
BABY😘: sure, of course. I'll be there soon.
Me: alright. Don't get to wet.
BABY😘: wouldn't dream of it.

"Hey mom... Can Tanner come in and eat some breakfast when he gets here? I hope that's okay, cause I already told him he could"
"Of course, tanners always welcomed here." She responds with a smile.
"Great...."

What a coincidence... Just at the moment, Tanner walks in.
"WHAT'S UP MY HOME DOGS?!?" Tanner yells, walking through the door.
"BROSKI!!!" I yell back.
Tanner then stops, making a very serious face at me.
"There you go again, calling me bro..."
"Oh yeah... My bad..." I say looking at my mom, hoping she wouldn't pick up on what he means...
"What are you guys talking about?" My mom says looking at both of us, kinda in a gossipy voice.
"Well you see, Kendall... I have a big crush on your daughter..."
"And I have a very big Crush on Tanner" I say interrupting him.
"Oh do y'all now? How sweet!" She says.
"Yes ma'am, I just wanted you to know that I am very happy with your daughter. She's wonderful." He says pulling to towards him, putting his arm over my shoulder and I put mine around his waist.
"You two are so cute together" my mom says placing a plate of food on the the counter.
I release my grip of him, and head over the one of the bar stools and take a seat, as Tanner does the same.
I pull my phone out, and hook it up to our surround sound Bluetooth station we have throughout the living room and kitchen.
Any requests, guys?
"NEVERSHOUTNEVER!" Tanner yells.
"Alright then... Our song???" I say grinning at him.
"Our song" he responds and kisses me on the cheek as I put on "can't stand it" by nevershoutnever.

"You ready?" Tanner asks me as he finishes his breakfast.
"Yeah. Pretty much" I laugh.
"Okay then, les go... And thank you Kendall for the breakfast, it was amazing."
"Oh, no problem. Your always welcomed here, Tanner"
"Thank you ma'am"

After we left, and had arrived to school, we found our friends.
"SAMMY!" Amber yelled
"AMBER!!" I yelled back and we ran up to each other and I jumped into her arms. That's what I love about our friendship. Everything!

"Okay ladies... Might wanna get to class before the bell rings." Tanner says interrupting our conversation.
"Yeah, your right..." I say opening my locker.
"Okay, well I'll see you guys later. Bye!" Amber says kissing my cheek and walking away.
"Now that she's gone..." Tanner says closing my locker for me, and grabs my hand.
"Now what???"
"We gotta get to class, silly"
"Of course..." I say rolling my eyes.
"Let's go..."
We walk to class hand in hand. Man, I swear... I could stay like this forever.
