Chapter 5

"So how did everything go"?
"It was great..."
"Just great??? No, Sammy. Give me details" Amber screams at me.
"We just went swimming, that's all"
She gives me a "you've gotta be kidding me" kinda look.
"Amber..."
"What?"
There was a long pause... And I look at her, dead serious.
"We're dating"
Her jaw drops. Then from one second to the next were standing up jumping and screaming in my bedroom like 2 little girls.
"Okay... Okay. Anything else you should be telling me?"
"Um, we're going on a date tomorrow, after the graduation.. Well, at least I think it's a date..."
"OF COURSE IT'S A DATE!"
"Okay... And???"
"And we need to get you something to wear."
"That's what a closet is for."
"No, that's what the mall is for" she says grabbing my hand and pulling me off the bed. I grab my purse, and phone and start heading for my car.
"PUT ON WORTH IT, NOW" I scream at Amber as were backing out of the drive way.

"GIVE IT TO ME, IM WORTH IT"! We sing the words all the way to the mall, and a few other songs on the way there.

"Oh my god, Amber look at this!"
"Eh... It's cute..."
"Really??? How about this?" I ask holding another cute, flowery dress up to me.
"I'm thinking something more like this..." She says revealing a BEAUTIFUL summer dress from behind her.
"Oh my god... Yes!"
"Come on" she says pulling me to the dressing rooms.

"Ambs... Help me zip..."
"There you go..."
I turn around to face the mirror.
Ambers hands are over her mouth in amazement.
"Oh my god, Sam... You look AMAZING!"
All I do is smile and know that, this is the one.
It's perfect, it's white... And it has pale blue, aqua colored flowers on it.
"This would look amazing with white converse, and a blue and white flower crown!"
"Agreed..." Amber answers with a smile.

After buying the dress, we make out way to Clair's and buy a blue and white flower crown, with the blue in the crown matches the blue in the dress perfectly! Then we walk over to Journey's and buy a pair of white high top converse. This outfit is going to look AWESOME! I just really hope Tanner likes it.

Once we got back into the truck, we started going on about tomorrow and how it's our big day... The day were let off into the real world, I can't believe we're already graduating.
"So. Here's what we're gonna do... Tomorrow, in the morning... I'm coming over, and I'll do your hair and makeup, and yeah. I'll make sure your eye liner is on fleek, and put a little blue eye shadow... Iittle bit of blush... And of course, curl your hair... OH! Imma do those tight curls that make your brown hair look so freaking cute!"
"Okay, Amber.... Slow down... Your like... Out of breath!"
"Sorry, I'm just so excited about tomorrow, and I'm happy for u and Tanner."
I smile as we pull into my drive way.
"Well, it's six... Wanna order pizza, and just chill?" I ask Amber.
"Heck yeah, broham!"
"What u wanna watch?"
"How bout... If I stay?" She says.
"Nah... To sad. Something happy." I say grabbing my phone and dial papa johns number.
"Umm, legally blonde?" She asks scrolling through The movies I have in my laptop.
"Sure, why not... Blondie!"
"Oh shut up" Amber says starting to tickle me.
"STOP IT!" I scream, laughing.
I fall in her lap, practically dying!

Then my mom walks through the front door.
"IM HOME" she yells from the front door.
"In here, mom!"
"Hi honey...
OH, hello Amber. It's nice to see you again!"
"Hey Kendall! I missed you" she says getting up to go hug my mom.
"Oh my god, I can't believe you too are graduating tomorrow! I remember when you guys were so small sitting here on the floor playing with y'all's dolls!"
"I know... Where did the time go?" Amber says.

*ding ding*
"I'll get it. It must be the pizza."
I open the door and see a friend from school, delivering the pizza.
"Oh hey, Jordan!"
"Hey Sam... I didn't know you lived here, nice place."
"Thanks... So, how much is it?"
"Oh yeah... It's um, $5.35"
"Here you go... Keep the change."
I say handing him a $10.
"Have a nice day, see you tomorrow, good luck."
"You too."
