"It's been five days," Annabeth whispers as she, Grover, and Ocean Eyes stand in a semi circle staring at a newspaper in disbelief, "Gods."

"Yeah," Di says as she munches on an apple she pulled from her mini backpack-purse, "I'm pretty sure it's due to a time-dilation field, but no one in the Hotel will tell me."

"A time-die-what?" Ocean Eyes asks in confusion as the three look up at Di.

Di furrows her eyebrows at them, "A time-dilation field," at their blank looks she explains, "It's where there's an area where time happens at a different speed. Like in there," Di points at the Lotus Hotel, "time feels like it's moving at a normal speed, but out here a lot of time has passed."

"I'm surprised you know that, Di," Annabeth states as she crosses her arms and stares Di down with her piercing grey eyes, "Where did you learn about it?"

Di scoffs, "Where else? Television has a lot of ideas, Annie. Don't diss it."

A laugh breaks the impromptu staring contest, "You learned that from TV?"

Di glares at the boy laughing at her, "Got a problem with that Ocean Eyes? You can learn a lot of things from forms of entertainment."

"Ocean Eyes?" he smirks at her.

Di glares harder at him, "I could just call you 'Messy Hair' or 'Hey, you' instead."

"Or," Grover interjects, "you could just call him by his name."

"How?" Di raises her brow in a challenge, "I don't know his name."

The trio stares at her in shock. Annie asks in disbelief, "How do you not know his name? I know you were there when he first arrived."

Di contemplates that, before putting the lego blocks together, "Are you talking about Coma Dude?"

"My name is Percy Jackson."

Di stared at the kid standing between two of her friends, "I totally thought Chiron said your name Peter Johansson."

The recently confirmed not-Peter Johansson stares at her in complete disbelief before turning to the other two with them, "Is she serious?"

"No one is ever truly sure with her," Annabeth states as Grover shrugs in Percy's direction.

"Anyway," Di exclaims tired of standing, "I need to head off and hope that my moms haven't been informed of my disappearance yet. And I'm guessing you guys have something pressing to do as well since you are terribly far from camp and are not me," the trios eyes widen as if just remembering something, "So I'm going to give you this," Di grabs Annabeth's hand and places a Lotus Hotel casino card, "use that for a taxi. They accept them and that card will be very beneficial for you. Good luck!"

Annabeth, Grover, and Percy all look at each other as she walked away, like they didn't believe how Di swept in and out so quickly. When they turned back to wish her luck as well with her moms, she was already gone. Which was weird since there was no corners or places for her to disappear behind so quickly.
