IV: Family

 They made a bonfire to keep them warm. They didn't leave the forest in hope that Chaeyoung would come back. They're heating up on the fire quietly

"Mina, do you remember all the spells mother used to perform?" Y/n asked

"I think so.. Why?" Mina asked

"The shield spell, the one that protected our castle.. the invisible wall" Y/n said

"But.. I couldn't remember that particular spell since we didn't know the island had protection but... I somewhat remember a spell that mother always does every 10th of the month.." Mina said

"I remember that! Isn't that the one she performs at every 4 am. but she wouldn't tell us what the spell is about" Jeongyeon said

"Then it must be the shield, right?" Jihyo asked

"I guess..." Y/n said

"Why don't you do it? I'm sure you still know all the words on that spell" Jihyo said

Next day ...

Y/n just woke up, the others are still sleeping while she saw Jihyo sitting down while looking at the sky. She approached her

"Good morning" Jihyo smiled

"What's on your mind?" Y/n asked

"I'm scared, for real scared" Jihyo said

"Chaeyoung is still missing, what else can happen? I'm worried for us" Jihyo said as she rest her head to Y/n's shoulder

"Do you remember when Nayeon pissed you off while we're playing volleyball then the sunny weather became stormy?" Y/n asked making Jihyo laugh

"I do, I was really annoyed that time because she's cheating!" Jihyo said

"You two are very competitive. While thinking of some memories.. I think it's good to have such competitive people around me" Y/n said

"What are we?" Jihyo asked as she focus her eyes on Y/n's

"What?"

"If we're not family or friends then what are we? I mean the ten of us, what's our positions in each other's life?" Jihyo asked

"I don't know..."

"But you have a position in my life" Jihyo smiled

"Really? What is it?" Y/n asked

"You're my comfort!"

"That's so cheesy! You're speaking as if you're father and I'm mother" Y/n chuckles

"Why not? Nayeon's the most annoying then the others are pain in the ass, you're the only one normal peculiar and that makes me so much happy because I'm not the only normal in the group"

Meanwhile ...

Chaeyoung's running fast as she get away from the house she was held in, she goes back to the inn and entered but no one was there

"Guys? Y/n? Dahyun??" Chaeyoung calls them but no one is answering her, she realized that it's empty and no one is here

'Did they left me?' Chaeyoung thought

"No, it can't be! Y/n wouldn't let that happen!" Chaeyoung shook her head

Chaeyoung went out of the inn and runs on the way to the forest when she bumped into someone

"I'm sorry!" Chaeyoung said, the middle aged woman looks at her

"Oh dear, are you okay?" She asked

"I am, I'm sorry again" Chaeyoung bowed before she runs again
