[INFO] Story Status & Localization

Hello! In this INFO chapter I will give general information on the status of the story and general information on how to have the best time reading it. 

At the bottom of the chapter will be the date when all of the chapters were published and last updated, so you will know when I have last updated a chapter or when I have published it. You will also find out about my goals for the story and how I would like to write this.

General Info for readers:

Bold text: *Sound effect's* or "emphasis on certain words."

Italic text:  Narrator... When he chooses to comment on something instead of narrating.

Other than this I honestly just recommend putting on some music, grabbing snacks or drinks and start reading! And most importantly get cozy! :)

My Goals for this story:

Aight so... I'm going to be real with you... I came up with the idea to make this story while I was taking a shit. And was like: "Why not? LEEEROOOOY JEE-". Aaand here we are. However I only recently realised (as of 21.01.2023) that this is actually a cool idea and might be a good learning experience for me.

So I decided to write this. And yes, this is based off of my Wattpad profile, and the MC's personality is based off of me, with some things edited to not make an exact copy of me.

As for how I want the story to come out and feel like. Basically, I have read a lot of Azur Lane Fanfiction's and a LOT of them are way too over the top, and not original. (my opinion, Don't crucify me please).

So I decided that I wanted to write something that wasn't way too over the top (By this I mean giving the MC a powerful profile while also making it so that it's not like "I HAVE 7x3 700mm TURRETS AND 600mm ARMOUR HURR DURR.) Or like when the yandere personalities of Roon, Taihou and Akagi are shown way too much and get boring really quick.)

I will try to keep the personalities of everyone reasonable (but in a way that is funny and reflects character's personalities), this also includes things some of the ship girl's might or might not do. Because I have seen some Fanfiction's where in literally in the first 24 hours of meeting the MC, any ship girl will act like they have been friends with the MC for 8 years.

BASICALLY what I am saying is that emotional attachment of ship girl's and the MC will develop over time instead of in like 1 chapter. (Note: I might make some exceptions to this rule if I think the MC and the other character might have good chemistry or similar interests.

I will also try to give some of the less popular ship girls screen time (Text time? Page time? Whatever...) And will try to give everyone a fair amount of screen time. I will try to be original with events in the story and small tid bits like for example Ägir liking teddy bears.

I will not be writing Lemon's, However I might make an occasional fan service scene, again nothing over the top. In terms of any romance, I have not yet decided if there will be any (Probably will tbh).

But when I come around to choosing which girl to have romance with or what kind of romance it will be (Like if there will be a harem or will it only be one girl that likes the MC) I will maybe ask you guys for suggestions or decide myself, we will see.

You can still leave suggestion's here if you want a certain ship girl for the romance, so that when I come around to choosing who. I will have a more easier time.

I will try to keep chapter's at a minimum of 1500 words. This is so that chapters will not be too short and just clog up space and only make this story look like its long. However due to my sort of perfectionist/indecisive nature this will probably make it so that new chapters will take a long time to come out. 

Also! I might leave some References/Easter eggs into the story from time to time about random things, So look out for those!

I will mostly keep writing this for a long time because I just want to have fun doing this, And improve at writing. I will try my best to follow the goals I have set for myself and have fun writing about a fictional world that comes from mine and other's imagination.

If you do not like what or how I am writing this story then please give me feedback or just stop reading if you are not enjoying it. Like I said, I want to have fun writing this and I want others to have fun reading this.

So in summary my goals for this story will be:

1. Don't write over the top bullshit. (Like what I mentioned above)

2. Keep actions and personalities reasonable. (As in, Yes Roon will be a yandere, but that does not mean that it's her only quality)

3. Try to give everyone and equal amount of screen time. (You can give me suggestion's on which characters/Ship girls you want to see have more screen time.

4. Be original (You can also help with this by giving suggestion's)

5. No lemons, But will allow fan service. (You can also give suggestions on any fan service scenarios that you think would work)

6. Romance. [UNDECIDED]

7. Chapters will be minimum 1500 words. (LORE/INFO Chapters are excluded from this)

8. Leave some Easter eggs/References to games, anime and other stuff, Into the story.
