*A/N-OMG IM SO EXCITED FOR THIS BOOK! I just want to say that there are A LOT of characters in Teen Wolf, so what I did was I took Cora and all of her action from Season Three and put it into Season Four. So this story is about the things that happened in Season Three, just with the characters from Season Four. So don't be confused if the events are a tad different, I felt that would make it more interesting and less boring. I hope that makes sense😂anyways, enjoy💙❤️💚💜💛
*Season Three-a bunch of weeks ago*
I smash the chains against the walls and claw at the locks on the doors.
I feel strong hands clamp around my arms and sit me down forcefully, yet gently. "It's no use, Cora. The chains are not going to give."
I look up into Boyd's chocolate brown face, his handsome features, and the large bags under his eyes, showing off the sleep he has lost in the past week. He's full of sadness, I can see it in everything he does. The way he's not been sleeping, the way Erica has been looking at him, the way he seems alert and anxious all the time. He's scared.
"But Boyd-the Full Moon. It's tomorrow." I tell him, rubbing my knuckles.
He nods stiffly. "Derek and Scott will come for us. I promise."
I look over at Erica, her body trembling, curled in a ball on the other side of the bank vault. She's sweaty and bedraggled; she doesn't look too good.
"We can't afford to wait much longer." I say, not taking my gaze off of Erica.
Boyd's eyes flicker to Erica, then back to my face. "We don't have much of a choice."
"But what if Derek and Scott don't find us before the Full Moon? What happens then?"
Boyd doesn't answer right away. He just looks down at the floor, his face grave. "We kill someone."
*****
I sit against the wall, my shoulder touching Boyd, sitting right next to me. We both stare ahead, no where in particular, just staring.
There's only about an hour until the Full Moon, as far as we can tell. I can feel the tenseness throughout the vault, the fact that Boyd and I haven't felt the Full Moon the past three times in a row.
"Boyd?" I ask, breaking the silence.
"Mm?"
"What's gonna happen to us when we feel the power of the moon tonight?"
Boyd looks over at me, his eyelids heavy. He shakes his head curtly. "I have no clue, Cora. But I bet we're gonna be fine. I'll take you for banana split after we get out of this place, okay?"
I laugh a little, feeling better. "Yea, absolutely."
Boyd wraps an arm around my shoulders and pulls me closer to his side. "We're gonna be okay, Cora. We're gonna be okay."
I nod along with his words. "We're gonna be okay."
We say it over and over, as if a chant. And then, all of a sudden, there's a loud bang on the door that makes us both jump.
And then the door slides open and Deucalion appears. He steps in, a malicious smile dancing across his lips.
"And how are we this fine evening?" He asks.
We don't respond, it'll only get us in trouble.
"I think I've kept you locked up in here long enough, wouldn't you agree?"
Silence.
"That's what I thought. So, how about some moonlight, eh? I think you deserve that much?"
Boyd and I exchange nervous glances. Deuc just smiles menacingly, and with a flick of his wrist, mountain ash spreads in a circle around the open vault.
"What-?" Boyd says.
Deucalion looks over at Erica and tisks quietly. "Oh, she's not a fun one, is she? She's no help to us. Ah, well, that's too bad." He grabs her wrists and drags her limp body out the door, taking her away.
Someone I don't recognize, grips her body and hoists her onto his shoulders, carrying her out of sight.
"NO!" I scream, trying to get out of my chains.
"ERICA!" Boyd yells, struggling along side me.
Deucalion sneers, walks out the door and opens a window across from the open doorway.
"And now we wait." He says, showing no expression.
I look at Boyd. He shakes his head, there's no use in trying to escape.
"Three....Two....Ah, there, how beautiful."
Deucalion steps to the side and disappears. The moonlight floods into the room and my senses go crazy.
My mind spins and I suddenly can't control my movements.
My body jolts, forcing me to shift. I snarl at Boyd, who has gone full werewolf. He snarls back, telling me he's on my side.
I feel as if my body as been taken over, my movements aren't mine. But I go with it, as if I don't have a choice.
My stomachs growls along with my throat, and for some reason, I crave human flesh.
And then a whole busts open in the left wall of the vault and Derek does a backflip into the room, followed by Scott, who walks in behind him, a scowl on his face.
Derek looks up and his face goes slack when he sees me. "Cora?"
Scott looks confused. "You know her?"
Derek doesn't respond. But I do. "Derek," I growl.
And then Boyd and I lunge, flinching yearly earnings at Derek and Scott.
I go straight for Derek, but he slashes my chest with his claws, making me stumble backward.
He goes to help Scott, who is pinned against the wall, Boyd holding him in the air.
But I leap at Derek and tackle him to the ground. I smash my claws into his face, watching blood drip down his neck.
I don't even think twice about what I'm doing.
About the act that I'm hurting my brother.
It doesn't register.
And I keep going.
I go to rip his face clean off, but he pushes me off him, scrambling to his feet and scratching my neck with his claws.
And then I catch sight of Allison, standing by the door, looking down at the mountain ash.
"No!" Derek yells to her. "Don't break the seal!"
But when Allison looks at Scott, held high in the air against the wall, blood outing from his mouth as he gags, she can't help herself.
Thinking she's helping him, she reaches down and blows on the ash, sending it flying in a swirl in the air.
Boyd immediately releases Scott and the two of us sprint out of the vault, free to do whatever we want.
Free to kill.
