Name: Airi Hana

Alias: Kurame Hane

Life story:

Your father was Japanese, and your mother was English, and so you lived in England. For most of your childhood you grew up with an abusive father. It was hard on you, and at one point you were even cutting yourself. At the age of twelve both of your parents died in a car accident. Being a talented young girl, you were sent to an orphanage for gifted children, the Wammy's House.

It was hard for you to make friends at first- seeing as you hate people, but after a while you met someone with a personality similar to yours. This made you somewhat able to stand him. His name was Mello, he and his friend Matt had lived in The Wammy's House for a long time apparently, and were, somewhat, kind to you.

After spending two years in the orphanage, you got to know most of the children pretty well. One day you saw Mello walking towards the door with his jacket, even though no one was allowed to go outside that day."

"Mello, what are you doing?" you asked.

"It's nothing," he said.

"Are you running away or something?" you asked.

"No, Kurame; just let it go," he told you.

"You're up to something," you said, knowing him well enough by then, "tell me."

"No," Mello replied firmly.

"Tell me or I'll poke you," you threatened.

"What? No," he replied.

"Tell me. Tell me. Tell me. Tell me," you replied, poking him each time you paused.

"Fine!" he relented. "If it'll make you shut up."

Mello then explained to you that he was in fact, running away, and that you couldn't tell anyone. He didn't bother to mention why, more so he didn't want to mention why. Not caring about the reason, you asked him if you could come along. Sure you had only known Mello for two years, but you were friends with him. You liked him a lot. I mean, you liked him, alot.

Ever since then you've been sticking with Mello. It's a nice change. You finally feel at home for once.

What they think of you:

Light Yagami: I found out about her. She doesn't seem to be capable of much.

Misa Amane: I don't know her.

Ryuk: I don't know anything about her.

Ryuzaki: I don't believe I know her.

Watari: I was never able to meet the child.

Near: She's with Mello now. I'm not surprised; the mafia seems like a business she'd be interested in.

Halle Lidner: I've spoken to her once or twice.

Anthony Rester: Apparently Near knows her, but I don't know anything about her.

Mello: She can be so annoying; still, I'm not upset that she came with me.

Shuichi Aizawa: I don't know much about her.

Touta Matsuda: She's in the mafia, right?

Soichiro Yagami: All I know is that she works with Mello.
