Chapter 6

Eda POV:
"Wait what?" I slowly sat up. "Your joking with me right now." I gave them a confused look because I really was. After they broke up with me I started to question if they even ever loved me. I stopped thinking about it for awhile because my focus was always on Allegra.

"Eda, I'm not joking around. It was kind of like a right person wrong time." They scratched their neck. "Your curse was clearly worsening and you wouldn't tell me shit so that made me feel like shit." They turned to look away.

"Okay, sorry to interrupt on the deep conversation that was about to unfold but I can't sleep and am very bored." Allegra peeked her head around the doorway. I patted a part of the couch between me and Raine and she came jogging in.

"Again sorry for interrupting, I mean we could always shit talk together." She elbowed me and Raine.

"No I don't think you would want to hear about it." Raine had turned back around.

"Fine, let's watch a movie." Allegra summoned a crystal ball and started swiping threw it. My eyes met Raine's and we both started laughing.

"You two are so mean I just want quality time with my parents, especially after meeting one of them today. It is still my birthday after all." Allegra said.

"Not for long kiddo, you have what 10 more minutes left of your birthday." I peeked at my scroll to find the time.

"Well thats 10 minutes of you twos time." While I still had my scroll open I went to penstagram. I stopped on a post by Alador.

"You know Alador and Darius practically flirty without even knowing it." I said bluntly.

"Wait, Emira and Edric's dad Alador? And coven head Darius, Darius?" Allegra whipped her head around and sat back to look at my scroll with me.

Raine went to the crystal ball to continue looking for a movie.

"Yeah they used to be friends but something happened with them. Now Darius is always making fun of him, this post has the hashtag 'whosthehacknow'." I said while pointing to a post by Alador.

"Hey it also has Emirs screaming at him in the comments." Allegra pointed at the comments and laughed.

"Eda, you do know Darius had a big crush on Alador for what like, 6 years." Raine turned around giving up on the ball. "NO! I mean he always kind of wanted to be around him but, dang he hid it well." I yelled.

Me and Raine started rambling about hexside and the signs if Darius's crush.

"You know, this feels like so good. Just having both of you here. Just talking like it's any old Tuesday." Allegra smiled at us. "Yeah thats basically my fault on, all accounts." I half smiled and lay back letting the couch consume me.

"Eda, don't do that to yourself." Raine put theirs on mine and squeezed it a bit.

"But you two can't disagree with me that it was my fault." I looked at both of them, Raine looked sympathetic. Allegra though. "I mean you shouldn't blame your self but I won't say that your wrong." She said gently.

"Allegra!" Raine half yelled at her.

"Ok, ok sorry. I think I am finally beat and will go to bed." She got up giving Raine another hug.

"Was I to harsh?" They looked at me worriedly.

"Oh Titan no, I've seen her play the tired act and this wasn't it. I think she was actually ready to go to bed." I reassured them. They half smiled. They realized that their hand was still on mine and blushed. I thought that was cute.

They intertwined out fingers and looked back up at me. "This ok?" They asked. "Yeah."
