the janitor had just left our dorm from cleaning up the window. micah and dd were talking on the kitchen island counter. i went to fill up my bottle and keep it in the refrigerator for tomorrow. it's finna get hot.
Y/N: "i think i'm gonna go sleep early, we gotta be up by like 7:30"
i said to dd while opening the fridge.
MICAH:"thasa good idea. ima catch u tomorrow d"
micah said dapping up dd.
i smiled at micah as he walked out and went to my room.
DD: "y/n"
Y/N: "hm?"
DD: "ion get a goodnight hug? what if ion wake up. you gon regret not huggin me goodnight."
i laughed while approaching him. at first, i was hugging him, but it started to feel like he was hugging me. he dug his face into my neck while letting out a dramatic sigh.
DD: "i missed this"
he whispered. i let go to smile at him.
Y/N: "me too. goodnight dd"
DD: "night y/n."
i finally went back to my room, trying to fight the biggest smile on my face but i couldn't. i set an alarm on my phone and put it down on my bedside table then got into my pjs.

i got into bed n covered myself with a light sheet since it was kinda hot.

i still couldn't sleep because of the smell the rat left. i remembered dd saying we could swap rooms but it's probably already too late for that since he might be asleep.
i got up and went to his room anyway. he was snoring like crazy. i tried squeezing into the wall side of his bed without waking him up.
DD: "y/n.."
Y/N: "shh"
DD: "you ok?"
he mumbled in his with his eyes closed
Y/N: "sleep d"
he turned over so he was facing my back then pulled my waist closer to his stomach. i moved a lil closer as rested my head on my hand while dd wrapped his arms around me.
