Be my friend-
SMACK!
"OUCH! THAT HURTS!" Rain cried as he cried out in pain.
SMACK!
"STOP IT!" Rain yelled as he got off of Veince's lap.
Venice was teaching Rain discipline as he smacked his but five times hard as his punishment. Rain whined as he rubbed his butt which he nows believes is red now.
"How dare you abuse me like that? I'll tell the enforcement officer on you and have you arrest you royal bastard!" Rain threatened at Venice as he pointed his finger at him.
Venice stop up from his couch as he stood tall in front of Rain as he walked up to his face, showing that same cold expression that Rain still shakes in fear from.
"Go ahead and tell them to arrest the prince of the minor family." Venice stated
Rain put his finger dow as he realized there is no use telling the law enforcement officer on the royal prince.
"Thats what I thought. If you act up in my town again, I'll throw your ass in my dungeon." Venice threatened to Rain.
"I'm not afraid of a stupid dungeon. So lock me up because I will never stop messing with you royal idiots." Rain said as he crossed his arms.
"What do you want? What can I do to shut you up?" Venice asked as it seemed Rain is tougher than he thought.
"Give me money. I want $200,000 and that would keep me away" Rain promises and Venice smirked as he thinks he will just give away that much money.
"Thats a lot of money but you are gonna have to give me something in return if I give you that much. I actually don't care if you mess with other nobles as I agree they can be bastards." Venice admits to which Rain wasn't expecting that answer.
"What do you want from me then?" Rain asked the prince.
"I need a friend. When you're a prince, you don't have friends. Sure I have my family but I never had that special someone that I can talk to without having to be all scared of me." Veince admitted as he struggled with making friends.
"Why would you want to be friend with me? I'm a commoner." Rain questioned Veince as he didn't understand.
"I don't care if you are a commoner or not. I just want a friend." Veince sighed as he slouch down on his couch.
Sad of the fact that he can never be himself. At home, he does his duties as a prince. At school, they still treat him because he lives in the main family's house. Even his changed identity doesn't fit him.
Rain can see the sad look on the princes face as he didn't think he would see the prince sad about anything. It kind of made him feel sorry for Veince as he was young and had a lot of responsibilities.
"Just friendship?" Rain asked as it caught the Prince's attention. "I can be your friend." Rain agreed as Veince stood up with hope in his eye.
"You will? I mean are you sure? I'm not exactly the type of guy you associate with." Veince questions as he wants to make sure Rain is willing to befriend him.
"Why not? Stories long ago that the king fell in love with a commoner and the King was the devil as they say. So I'm sure that we can be friends." Rain said as he explained.
The story that Rain mention kind of made Veince hurt beat faster as he mentioned the story of his dead parents who had fell in love despite their status. His Ba was a commoner but Pete became Royalty as the Queen.
"Speaking of which, what's your name?" Rain asked as he doesn't know the Prince's real name yet.
"Phayu Saengtham. I'm actually a long time family relative of the main family. They made me Prince since they needed one for the minor family." Veince lied as he didn't expose his true identity.
"Well instead of your majesty, May I call you P'Phayu?" Rain asked as he normally calls people who are older than him Phi.
Venice nodded as he will expect it. Also he was never called Phi before as it felt like he was becoming normal for once.
"Where's do you live? I'll have Sky take you home to your parents." Venice asked as he noticed he was getting late.
"I don't have parents. I make a living by stealing and sometimes asking sleeping in my neighbors house. I became an orphan just three years ago." Rain admitted which saddens him to talk about.
Venice felt that it was awful for Rain to live like that. No wonder he hates Royal nobles and steals. He has nothing left.
"Then stay here. I have a room for you." Venice suggested.
"W-What?"
"You can stay here. We are friends now." Venice reminded which made Rain smile brightly.
"P'Phayu, you're the best!" Rain said as he jumped into Veince's arm as he hugged him.
Venice was shocked and didn't know what to do as he has never been hugged before. Not by anyone. The feeling was still comforting as he felt for the first time actually accepted.
Eventually Venice hugged back as he patted Rain's back a couple of times.
"You can sleep here in my room tonight. I'm have my maids clean up a room for you tomorrow. You can gather your stuff from where you use to stay and moved them here. I'll provide you everything you need. From now on, you will be known to everyone has my special guest." Venice explained and Rain nodded his head and understood.
Venice turned around and walked towards his closet.
"P'Phayu? Is Sky really one of your royal guards?" Rain suddenly asked as that question been on his mind all day.
"Sky is my personal guard. He protects me with his life. That's his duty. He is not some commoner like you thought he was. He has the most dangerous and important job of his life. Maybe you should reconsider your friendship with as I don't think you should get too attached." Venice said to Rain.
He walked inside his closet as he brought out a large silk blanket and tossed it to Rain for him to sleep with.
"I'm heading off to bed. Goodnight." Venice said lastly as he walked towards his bed to sleep.
Rain walked to the couch as he rested himself on it. He saw the prince already in bed as he thought about how could he be friends with someone who has so much weight on his shoulders.
