-The Dark Journal
After dinner, Rain has been sent back into his room by the Prince's request. Rain saw the anger in his face from the mention of Prince Stop. He couldn't help but wondering what's going on. The door opened and Rain was interrupted by his own thoughts.

He saw Sky sneaking in as he gently closed the door.

"Sky, is there something wrong?" Rain asked as he didn't understand Sky's presence at the moment.

"I had to sneak in here to speak to you alone." Sky admitted.

"Won't you.....get in trouble?" Rain asked as he was concerned for his long time academy friend.

"Probably but this is more important. Believe it or not, I'm on break for about 20 mins and Prince Venice is in a late night meeting in his throne room. So I have a bit a time and wanted to speak to you." Sky admitted as he explained.

"Wow, so what was it you wanted to say to me?" Rain asked.

"Well.... for starters, how you been over the years. After you left things have changed and definitely not for the better."

"I've been good and kept myself off the streets and trouble." Rain answered.

"That's good." Sky smiled as he knew his friend was strong enough to survive on his own. "I know this might sound selfish of me but.....please don't have any sort of escape plan. With you here, you might actually be able to change him."

"But you know I hate the royal life. That's why I left because I didn't belong." Rain argued back.

"Times have changed and you know that you are the only one that help save this town. Prince Venice is in love with you."

"How could he be in love with me? I'm nothing but a thief."

"Come on Rain, even I know you've fallen in love with the Prince. You can't hide anything from me and I knew the only reason because you left was because you were scared of loving the prince." Sky said and Rain was about to open his mouth and say something but he didn't.

I guess lying and saying he doesn't love the prince was impossible for him and it was even much harder when Sky was looking at him like that.

"Now that you've have come in terms with your real feelings for the prince, you can help save the town. The commoners are scared and terrified for their life. This town doesn't need another bipolar prince." Sky said as he was digging something from his pocket.

He revealed a small pocket book from his armor. Rain tilted his head and looked at it confusedly.

"What is that?" Rain asked.

"It's my Uncle Phillip's Journal. It's incomplete because he died but it had everything about the time with King Vegas and Queen Sir Pete in some parts." Sky explained as he handed Rain the pocket journal.

"So why are you giving it to me?"

"Because......some doesn't understand King Vegas's life was like as a child and why he became ruthless. This books has all of King Vegas's darkest times and secrets and King Vegas only trusted Phillip. So now......I'm trusting you Rain. Don't let anyone touch or see this book. It's very important to me." Sky said as he gave Rain a fair warning.

This books is very dark and exposes the truth. Rain understood the importance of this book and what he means to Sky's family. He can't let anyone get their hands on it.

"I understand, you have my word Sky." Rain said as he held the book tight to his chest.

Sky nodded and check the clock that his break time was over and he needed to go back to his post before he is caught.

"I must leave now Rain." Sky said as he hurried out and Rain waved to his friend.

He looked at the Journal and just swiped his finger tips across it. He sat down at his little desk and began to read the first page.

                                        ~~~~~~~~~
Rain was exhausted as he literally spend the entire night reading Sky's uncle journal. He didn't even realize it was already midnight and was it was soon morning. Rain closed the books and hid it in a small dresser.
He took a deep breath as he ran his fingers through his hair as he was now extremely exhausted. Rain yawned as his arms stretched out in the air and a pair of arms wrapped around his chest, startled Rain
"You're still up?" A deep brass voice spoke in Rain's ear, which caused him to shiver a little.
"I wasn't tired yet but I am now." Rain admitted.
"Or were you waiting for me?"
Rain turned his head slightly as he saw Phayu with a smirk on his face.
"What's the point of waiting?" Rain said to him.
"For this." Phayu brought his lips gently down Rain's neck.
Rain eyes closed as he took in the feeling of Phayu's lips on his neck. A slight moan escaped his lips as he felt Phayu's mouth sucking on his skin, leaving a pretty noticeable hickey.
"As much as I want to continue, I know you're tired and want to sleep." Phayu whispered and that alone what he said brought Rain back into reality.
Rain stood up from the desk as he quickly tried to reach his bad but the Prince grab his arm.
"I wanted to ask you something before you went to bed." Phayu started.
"What is it?" Rain asked.
"Tomorrow at the Royal Banquet, I want you to go with me as my special date." The Prince requested.
"You want me to be there?" Rain questioned as he pointed to himself.
"Yes, it would make me happy that you would be there with me."
"But it's a royal banquet and I'm not royalty." Rain reminds the Prince.
Phayu grabbed Rain by the hand as he soothe thumb over his knuckles so gently.
"You're royalty to me and because I want you there, you will be noticed by everyone that a cute guy like you is with me." The Prince explained. "Now get some rest." Phayu smiled as he placed a gentle kiss on Rain's forehead before he left his room.
