"Fiona!!!" Someone yells from downstairs as I slowly start to wake up. I stay still, enjoying every moment in bed. "Fionaa!" Veronica yells out. I hear a couple of girls giggling as I hear footsteps coming up the stairs. "Fiona get your butt up, " Jackie adds. I groan as I stay under my warm blanket. "Stop groanen and moaning, get up. " Rue exclaims. I lay there in silence once again. "Fiona! GET YOUR ASS UP NOW!!" Mom screams from downstairs. Everyone jumps as they've never heard my mother scream like that around them. "Okayyyaaa!!" I groan out as I sit up, using my elbows. I turn my head to observe the girls who are in my room.
"What? Wait.. Why are you guys in my room it's literally 7:00 o'clock at night. " I ask, furrowing my eyebrows. "Because, Halloween is Tomorrow. " Rue shakes her head as she speaks. "And what does anything have to do with waking me up..? " I question, annoyed. "Causeee we need to find costumes! " Brooklyn squeals. Jackie snaps and points her finger at Brooklyn, "Yeah, that why. " I roll my eyes and chuckle as I get out of bed.
As I'm ready, we all laugh and joke around as we run downstairs. I put on my hoodie before we call out to mom "Bye, mom! Love you. " I say. "Bye Mrs. Gallagher!" Jackie smiles and nods. "Bye Mrs! " Rue giggles. "Bye! " Brooklyn closes the door behind her as me and Veronica stumble and laugh our ass's off at the fear on Jackie's face. "What's so fucking funny? " Jackie chuckles.
"Are you that scared of my mother?" I quiz as I laugh. "No, well.. Well you know how pregnancy hormones are. Mothers are scary when they're pregnant. " Jackie mumbles as she begins to walk on the sidewalk. Me and Veronica laugh and shake our heads.
Veronica catches up to Rue and Jacky to quiz them on what it was like back where they live.
Brooklyn slows down to wait for me. She walks at the right pace with me as she wraps an arm around my waist. I smile and lie my head against her as we continue walking.
Brooklyn looks down at me, grinning. I nod and smile up at her as I wrap my arm around her lower waist. "So, Hawkins isn't actually your home town? " I ask. She rubs her hand against my lower back. "Yeah, I actually live back in New Orleans, Louisiana. In a big white house with amazing teal windows with a red door and porch. And of course a tree blocking my bedroom window. It was beautiful there. But we left after, Keith. " Brooklyn says, looking out on the street, enjoying the breeze run against her face as she smiles.
I nod and smile as well, enjoying the beautiful wind fly free throughout the air. "My mom and I moved here. About 6 years now. When I turned 11, everything changed and became so much better." She speaks, looking down at me as she smiles. "I don't wanna talk about it. " she replies back at the expression on my face. I nod and rub her back aswell while we smile at each other. Gazing through each other's eyes.

"What about Dis?" Veronica asks as she jumps out of the changing room. "Oh.My.God. V! That's too sexy!" I whisper-yell as she twists her hips in front of the mirror. Rue, Jacky and Brooklyn are still out shopping as I'm stuck here with Veronica. "Oh come on, there's gonna be men at the party! I've been single for too long, girl! " she snaps her fingers and looks in the mirror as she lifts up her cowgirl and smirks in front of the mirror. I chuckle and look at her beautiful body. Damn!

"I guess.. Thats the one!" Veronica jumps in her high heels. I nod and smile brightly at her.
"We have the perfect costumes! And oh my god, Fiona I think I found the perfect one for you! " Rue yells out down the isle. I put my thumb up and nod. Veronica does a little pose to show them her costume. The girls gasp. "Damn girl! Your hot! " Rue giggles. "Jesus.. " Jackie stands there in complete disbelief. "Damn, V!" Brooklyns squeals.
We all run into our changing stalls, trying on our costumes.
"Alright step out in.. 3! 2! 1!" Veronica hollars. We all step out of our stalls.

"Oh my god!!!! " We all scream at each other's costumes. Jackie does a little bow. Rue does a cute twirl as she giggles. Brooklyn puts her hands on her hips as I get twirled by her. "Cute!! " Veronica hypes us up. "Those are definitely the ones for y'all. " she nods and we all nod in the mirror.
"Shit! We look hot. " Jackie mumbles. "Indeed." Rue nods. ~~~~~~~~
"Will that be it?" The woman asks, scanning the last costume. "Of course. " I reply. Jackie and Rue laughs their ass's off as they leave the store. I look at V and Brooklyn in a very confused look. Veronica shrugs. "They always laugh at some shit. " Brooklyn chuckles and rolls her eyes as she grabs the bags for me and V. "Sure do! " Rue nods
