When Rhea and Ash bring an unconscious Koko to the Pokemon Center, Rhea looks worriedly at him, hoping that he would be alright. Ash notices this and asks her if she knows him, but she responds with no and Ash decides to calm her while they sit down and talk.

POV Time!

Ash's POV:

She's weird, but caring at least, so I decided to ask her name and she said it is Rhea. We talked about many things, and she states that where she lived, people thought that Pokemon were dangerous, though a few of them coexisted. That's why she drew her sword at Pikachu when she first saw him.

Koko's POV:

I woke up, it was so bright, then, I saw another one of those weird creatures, and a Pokemon I didn't recognize. I have no idea where I am, who is that and where is dada. I growled at him but stopped when I noticed who else is here: The one I saw earlier! She was here and we stared at each other for a while, until the other one broke the silence, and I went for the exit.

After that, when Koko went out, he saw the bright sun, and he was stunned by everything around him, that he almost got hit by a truck. Rhea was there just in time and immediately pulled him out of the way and both of them landed on each other, but when Drednaw started to run away, their little moment was interrupted, and they chased the Drednaw. When Koko calmed it down, Ash and Rhea were stunned especially when it's owner said that Drednaw usually doesn't get along with strangers. This information let Ash and Rhea get curious about him and start to ask him questions about it. However, what Ash and Rhea by suprise is how he reacted when he saw a Pokeball, and when Ash pulls one out, Koko gets close and licked it. They then get into a bit of tug-of-war with the Pokeball. While Rhea tries to help Ash, he orders Pikachu to use Thunderbolt and she let's go of him, in fear that she will get electrocuted. When both of the boys get electrocuted, Rhea went to check on them and reprimanded Pikachu in the process.

After introducing themselves, Rhea offers a handshake to Koko, but instead, he grabs her hand and placed it on his, she found it cute and also blushed a bit. After that, they bought him some new clothes, taught him to speak (a little bit), have ice cream (which Koko liked a lot after tasting one), and dance. When the three of them went to observe a sunset, Rhea remarks on how beautiful it is, to which Ash agrees. After they figured the problem with the fireworks, they stayed to watch them. Koko, startled by them, hides behind Rhea, while she and Ash calm him down, and they enjoy it. Ash remarks on how close Rhea and Koko are, despite the fact that they just met. After that, Koko jumps on a post, sniffing so that he knows where to go from here and leads the two of them to his home: The jungle.

When they see Skwovet, it mumbles something. While Ash says it's cute, Rhea thinks they are in trouble, and it happened when her and Ash's legs were wrapped around by a vine and now both of them are trapped mid-air. Then Koko's dada appears and when it starts to argue with Koko, Ash and Rhea were reminded of those times with their parents, and Rhea started to feel bad for Koko.

POV's again....

Rhea's POV: I heard a weird language that I don't understand, but judging by the tone, they may be fighting. I then remembered the fights me and my mom had when I returned home (after 2 years), they were a bit tense, but things worked out soon. Ash must be thinking the same thing about his parents. I felt bad for Koko, but it stopped when I realized my sword was falling from the sheath. I didn't want things to make things worse (like the sword falling to the ground to catch attention), so I put it back, holding the sword by the tsuba. Ash noticed while he was trying to get the knot out, and I told him to stop fumbling with it and then I cut the vines that were on our legs in one swipe.

When dada told Koko his origin, how they met and a picture of his real parents, he wanted to take back what he said, but it was too late. Rhea and Ash comfort him and assure him that they will help him find his parents. After Ash briefly talks about his dad, he then asks about Rhea's parents. Rhea tries to avoid it, but she gave in due to the boys' curiosity. She just says that she's on good terms with them. After searching the place for a bit, they find a wallet with a symbol and Ash says he met someone who has the same one, and they decide to go find her in the morning. They then prepare to sleep, and Ash rolls out his sleeping bag. He soon realizes that not all of them can fit and Rhea says she'll use her haori, and she states she will clean it in the morning. While laying down, Koko looks up to the stars, he's surprised to learn a lot in a single day. He can't stop thinking about it and tosses and turns in the sleeping bag, unable to sleep. Rhea notices and asks if he couldn't sleep. He nods and she tells him to lie down on her arm. He lies down, then Rhea starts to connect the stars and tells him about constellations. Koko was so amazed but was also enchanted by her calming and soothing voice, that he already fell asleep. Rhea sees it and smiles, with some blush on her face. She soon wonders how tomorrow will be, until she felt a breeze and sensed something was wrong, but she brushes it off as very cold wind and sleeps peacefully beside Koko.
