Chapter 1 - My new forever home

          ⚠️Tw! Mentions of drugs/Alcohol !Tw⚠️

I was now at the airport waiting for my Cousin Maddy Perez to pick me up. In the last 48 hours I had gotten kicked out and packed my whole life in a tiny luggage just to move away. Why? You might wonder. Well it all started like this. "Mom! I didn't take any drugs!" I said screaming. "Why did I find a huge pack of Molly in your dresser then Y/n?!" My mom said screaming back at me. "Oh so now I'm the one to blame!" I said screaming even louder. "I'm the one to fucking to blame when you're the one slowly turning into an alcoholic!" I said now crying.

"Don't you even dare to bring alcohol into this when we are clearly talking about you and you're drugs!" My mom said screaming back at me. "I didn't even take any drugs mom!" I said crying even more now. "You know what Y/n? Get out! Get out of my house right now! I will not even call you my own daughter any more!" She said while a few tears fell from her cheeks. This was the moment I just felt my heart shatter. My whole body just fell down onto the floor and I could feel myself start to panic. My mom just stood there staring at me not even moving a millimeter.

After a while I eventually got up and went to my room. I put my luggage down on my bed and started packing. From clothes to skincare and eventually to memories. I felt a tear shed as I slowly put down a framed picture of me and my mother down into the luggage. I felt the millions of tears wanting to escape my eyes but I held them in as hard as I could.

I took a quick glance over my room and slowly walked away. I was now in the hallway putting on my shoes and my jacket. I could feel my mom stare at me but I just brushed it off and went outside. Now was officially the last time I'd ever be seen here. My mom had already booked a flight so I just walked to the airport.
                              
- 35 minutes later -

I had now arrived at LAX and my flight was gonna board in about 1 hour & 17 minutes. I had already went thru security so I slowly sat down on the nearest bench and just breathed out slowly. Time had unfortunately passed quicker then I thought so I just got up and went to my gate. As I got on to the plane I just sat down and looked outside the window.
                     
- 5 hours & 33 minutes later -

I woke up and looked around. It seemed like everyone was ready to head out so I quickly got up and grabbed my phone. I got out of the plane and went to pickup my luggage. I got a text from Maddy asking if I had landed in Atlanta.

                  Yup, just picked up my luggage!

And that was officially everything that had happened to me the in the past 48 hours. But everything happens for a reason! Right..?
