The Wolf, The Vampire and The Rafayel

Prelude

The sun has just gone down. But It seems that it is already midnight. This is the problem with this city. Here everything happens so fast. Even the night passes very fast. You just close your eyes and Boom! It is already morning! 

A woman, in her thirties, is walking fast through the road. She has just got off her office bus and started walking through the road. The road is almost empty. At least she cannot see anyone near. In a normal situation, a single woman like her should be frightened. Even I man would feel hesitant to go alone on this road as there are many rumors about this road. 

Hill Road was once a very beautiful place. It is still a very beautiful one in the town. People often came here just to see the view of this road. On one side of the road, there is a high hill, Then the road, and after the road, there is the steep shaft. From the road, the sunset is seen very clearly. When the sun goes down all the sky turns into a red bowl. It looks very amazing. But Then people stopped coming here.

They say that after the sun goes down, Vampires are seen looking for fresh blood. Some people also say that they saw not only vampires with red eyes but also werewolf hunting. There is also a saying that sometimes they fight with each other. And if the werewolf wins, the vampire turns into ashes and if the opposite happens then she or he immediately turns into a human. Several bodies were found here in the past few years. But in most cases, nothing came out. In Some cases, police could not even find who they were. Their real identity still remains a mystery to the Town police. It seems like they were here just to die. 

But the woman, we are talking about, is feeling nothing. She just is just walking freely and fearlessly. This is her common route every day from the office. Her office bus drops her in the link road and goes in the opposite direction. She is the only employee living in this area. Her home is just a 10-minute walk from here. She enjoys it. 

As she reached half of her distance she felt something was not right. She stopped and looked around. Still, there was no none. No none but her. The street lights were okay. They always make the hill road visible at night. But it is almost impossible to see anything beyond the road. There was nothing in the shaft. But she could feel someone or something was watching from the hill. She could not see it but She could feel it. Her super-sensitive ears can hear heartbeats. It's not a vampire's nor the werewolf's. She is very much familiar with these types of heartbeats. Vampire's heartbeat is calm and quiet on the other hand, the heart of a werewolf beats very fast. But this was something different. It was not as calm as a vampire but still not as fast as a werewolf.  

Then what is it?

She stood there for a whole minute. As it seemed that something was going to happen. As She herself is a vampire, she needs not fear. And the peace agreement with the werewolf group is still upheld. No normal human being is able to harm her. So There is nothing to worry about. But Still, she felt a dance could of fear growing around her. 

And then She saw it!

It jumped off the hill and landed on the road. She can see it clearly. It was directly looking into her eyes. Her mind tells her to run. But she could not as her leg felt attached to the road. its red burning eyes somehow managed to hypnotize her. When vampires hunt their prey, they also implement the same technic.

Hypnotize!

But How could she become the victim? 

It is nearly impossible to do it with a vampire! She cannot be hypnotized! Then How could this animal be able to hypnotize her?

It was marching toward her slowly. She wanted to run! She wanted to cry or screen at least. But She couldn't even move her eye leaps.

She then felt the fear in her mind.
