A little Juniper watched in wonder as her mother painted on the wall of her room. She always loved when her mother painted something about the stars or sun which made her want to start painting as well.
"Well," Her mother, Arianna, said as she backed away from the wall and Juniper smiled widely. "What do you think, Juni?" She asked.
"I love it, mama!" Juniper jumps up from her small stool and hugged the woman's leg. "It's so beautiful," she told her and Arianna smiled down at the girl.
"That's good. Come on, let's get to your father and sister for our family picnic," Arianna grabs her daughter's hand and walks out the room. As the two walked down the hall of their home, Juniper starts to admire all the art on their walls. Some were made by father, some by her sister even some were made by her but lots of them were made by her mother and that's she loved about their home. It was covered by their art and love.
When they got outside, Juniper saw her father and older sister, Iris, waiting for them on a blanket with food beside them. "Finally, I thought that we'd have to start without you two," Her father, Aither, said which made Arianna giggle as she and the little girl seat on the blanket. Iris starts to braid Juniper's hair as they started their normal family hanging.
The family starts to spend their time just laughing and speaking amongst each other. Unbeknownst to them and Juniper, that would be the last moment they would have together.

As a boy around the age of six was walking around the snowy forest of Midgard, he noticed a girl with blonde hair knocked out in the snow as Reavers start to surround her. "Father! Mother!" He shouted which got the Reavers attention and they started to come towards him and away from the girl. The boy started to back away until a big man appeared and attacked the Reavers. After he took them down, a woman comes up from trees.
"Father, Mother," the boy went up to the man and pointed towards the girl. "I think she needs help." The three start to walk towards her and the boy kneels down. 'Wow... she's really p-pretty.' He thought as the girl starts to wake up.
Juniper's green eyes meets the boy's light blue ones which caused her to quickly sit up and back away from him in fear. "Get away from me!" She shouted and the boy puts his hands up. The girl looks around the new around she was in and started to shake from fear. 'Where's Mother? Father? Iris?' She started to hyperventilate and covered her head.
The boy looked at the girl in sadness and looked back at his parents. "Mother, Father, what are we going to do?" His mother gently places her hand on his shoulder. "You can try to calm her down, Atreus." The boy known as Atreus glanced at the Juniper who had tears coming from her eyes and slowly started to walk towards her. Juniper slowly raises her head up at him and he freezes nervously.
"Uh, hi, what's your name?" Atreus says as he sticks his hand out and Juniper just stares at it which makes him a little nervous. "I'm Atreus. That's my mother and father." She glances at the adults behind him and stares at his blue eyes. "I-I'm Juniper." She mutters and shakes the boy's hand which causes him to smile and she shyly smiles back.
When Juniper got up, she suddenly became lightheaded and fell forward into Atreus who quickly caught and noticed scars across her back. "She's hurt!" He yelled to his parents as Juniper passed out.

Juniper slowly awoke to see a roof and slowly sat up. She looks around this new place, looking at all the things in the room and soon notices the boy from before resting beside her. The girl looks at the boy in wonder as she reaches for his hand but stops as the door opens and the woman from moments before came in. Juniper quickly hid under the covers which awoke Atreus up.
"Hey, you're already up. Are you okay?" Atreus asked as Laufey smiled at the blonde girl who poked her head up from the covers and nodded timidly. Atreus smiled which made girl blush nervously and she glanced at the woman standing at the door. "Oh, this is my mother, Laufey or Faye for short."
Faye smiled at the girl who shyly looked at the ground.

As the years passed by, Juniper grew up with Atreus and his family. She's been getting nightmares from that day but it doesn't stop her from smiling every day. The only thing she had left from her family was a Sun necklace that her mother used to wear and she's held it close every since that day.

As she grew up in Midgard, she learned how to fight from Kratos which made them create a close bond from that. And she also learned magic from Faye. She loved ever moment with the woman who treated her like a daughter and Juniper was saddened when her death came and took her away. As for Atreus, the two were basically inseparable as they grew up together and made a promise to always be by each other's side.
Now she, Atreus and Kratos have to scatter Faye's ashes atop the highest peak of the Nine Realms which begins her long and intense journey.
