EIGHT MONTHS LATER
"Regina, can you help me with the zipper, the photographer is going to be here at any moment!" Emma said frantically, trying to buckle her shoes over her growing middle. "Emma! Stop worrying! You will get ready on time, that's what I'm here for! Now stop bending over, I know that's uncomfortable." I said zipping up the long white gown. She sat down on my bed and lifted her foot. "Please?" She asked. I laughed and bent over and strapped her sandals. Mary Margaret and Belle were sitting in the other room with the Emilia. I helped her up and walked her over to my mirror so she could look at herself. I smiled and spread her train out behind her, my blush dress sweeping against her white one. "You look wonderful Emma." I said smiling, recalling my own wedding day, us having a moment just like this one. We walked outside of the room and the two other girls squealed when they saw Emma.
Once we finished with pictures and the ceremony, which was held at the top of the hill facing the water, we arrived at the reception hall, it was the building that faced the docks, over looking all the boats in the harbor. The lights were strung over the ceiling illuminating the room. The whole wedding party entered and watched as Mr. and Mrs. Jones slowly danced on the dance floor. I held Emilia in my lap, her flower girl dress tickling her nose with the mesh. I wiped her face and kissed it, my eyes returning to the dance floor. Robin came over carrying Matthew, both of them in their suits. Roland was sitting with Mary Margaret and David, asking them multiple questions about anything. Henry sat next to me, he was the best man, so we got to walk down the aisle and sit together. He leaned his head on me and smiled at his mother dancing. The music stopped and David cut in, while Mary Margaret waltzed with Killian. Once the dancing finished and dinner was served the DJ walked over to me and handed me a microphone. "Time for the speeches!" He said as he spoke into his mic. I had been so occupied with the wedding I had completely forgotten to write one! "Now here is the Matron of Honor, Regina Mills." The room clapped as I took the microphone and looked warily at Robin who gave me a reassuring hand squeeze. Henry grabbed Emmy so I could collect my thoughts. "Good evening. I am Regina Locksley, just recently got the name change. Anyways, let me start off by saying congratulations Emma and Killian, you two are two people absolutely meant for each other. Now if you know anything about this town, its that we are all related, in some way shape or form. Well, I could give you the whole genealogy of how Emma and I are related, but the way I see her is my sister. Now I know everyone cringes when we think of that part of my life, but Emma has shown me what it is like to truly be a sister. To be the person you fall back on when nothing seems to be going right. Someone who you can lean on, Emma proved to be that person especially during the birth of my children." Emma looked up and laughed at me. "But, she has been that person who saw the good in me, been my advocate and protector when everyone else wasn't, and I think I am the luckiest person to have her for my sister. She is a wonderful mother to our son, she constantly is sacrificing her own needs for the needs of others, and I think that I am lucky to have her as a sister, well Hook, you are so lucky to have her as your wife." My eyes welled up as I put the microphone down and smiled at her. I saw Hook help her up as she nearly knocked me over with a hug. She grabbed the microphone and turned it on. "Thank you Regina." She said, her voice shaking. "Oh and don't worry, I'm about to pop, I'll be doing some "leaning" on you REALLY soon!" She said hugging me one last time. I sat back down and grabbed Emmy from Henry, I knew he was up next. "That was beautiful, just like you." Robin said into my ear, kissing my temple. "And now a speech from the Best Man, son of the Bride Henry Mills!" The DJ said handing him the mic. The room lightly clapped as he stood up. "Hello, I'm Henry, I'm Emma and Regina's son, I'll explain that later. Growing up, I always felt different, I was adopted, my mother loved me with all of her heart soul and mind, but I always wondered how I would react if I met my birth mother? Would I be angry? Or shocked? I didn't know, so I decided that I would go and find her." I fidgeted with Emilia's dress, the story making me uncomfortable, no matter how many times I've heard it, my mind still remembers the little boy who didn't want to live with me. Robin grabbed my hand and held it in his lap, Henry looked over at me and smiled. "I caused a lot of pain, a lot of conflict, but I know that in the end, finding Emma, finding my mom was the best thing that I have ever done, because now I don't have one parent, I have five." Henry said smiling. My eyes were welled up with tears, and I looked over and Robin's, Emma's and Hook's were as well. The four of us stood up and hugged him. "We love you Henry." We all said in unison. "I love you too."
