My Future | Wavier Story

Settling in 

wednesday had ran out of the room and went to the nightshades library. she doesn't like the way xavier makes her feel, wednesday isn't vulnerable and she doesn't do emotions. she needed to rebuild her walls and quickly. she sat in the library assessing everything that's happened since she met nevermores tortured artist. wednesday's thoughts were interrupted by someone entering the library.

"why'd you flip out back there wednesday?" xavier asked face full of concern.

"i do recall saying that their would be bodily harm to anyone who follows me."

"you don't scare me addams."

wednesday took a step closer to xavier trying to be intimidating, but the flutter in her stomach is making it hard.

"bold of you to assume i won't act on my words."

"wanna kill me wednesday, do it." xavier said with an almost cynical grin.

wednesday pulled out her switchblade, but when she lifted her arm to attack xavier caught it and grabbed her other arm. He knocked the blade out of her hand and moved his hands to her waist and pulled her closer to him. their eyes locked and for a moment xavier could've swore he saw lust in the eyes of the wednesday addams.

"xavier, strangely in this moment i'd like to kiss you." wednesday said in the softest tone you'd ever hear from her.

xavier closed the gap between them and smashed his lips onto hers. the kiss was electric and it lasted for a long time until xavier need air.

"you're weak." wednesday said with a slight grin.

"you still like me." xavier said still holding her close.

"no, this changes nothing, you and me are nothing more than friends, who may occasionally kiss."

"if that's what you're going to tell yourself love." xavier said making wednesday visibly blush.

xavier thought it was adorable, and knew he was screwed because he was in love with wednesday addams.

enid and ajax were sitting with the kids watching the movie they were initially supposed to watch with xavier and wednesday.

"this reminds me of the future." vince said smiling.

"how so little dude?" ajax asked.

"in the future you both watch us very often when mother and father go on dates, vince loves it but i find aunt enids's colorful decorations sickening." morticia said recoiling in disgust.

enid laughed at her best friends daughter, they're practically the same person. they had been about thirty minutes into their movie when the door swung open and xavier and wednesday walked in.

"are you feeling better now mother?" morticia asked.

"much better, come children we need to discuss your sleeping arrangements." wednesday said attempting to use a softer tone than before.

"i wanna sleep with mom!" vince screamed running to hug wednesday.

wednesday froze but reluctantly embraced her son shocking everyone in the room.

"he's really close with mother, i think it's due to his personality being exactly like aunt enid's, while father prefers me because i remind him of our mother." morticia said gesturing towards vince and wednesday.

"then it's settled, vincent will stay with me and morticia will stay with xavier." wednesday stated.

moments later morticia, ajax, and xavier left leaving wednesday, vince , and enid. enid and vince were sitting on her bed talking and watching tv while wednesday used this time to work on her novel. the duo talked and laughed and it almost warmed wednesday's black heart to know enid would always be by her side. wednesday continued to write for about 30 more minutes before deciding she would stop for the day.

"are there any nighttime routines i should know about vincent? wednesday questioned.

"i just normally take my bath and brush my teeth." vince spoke.

"well let's go, you can play with aunt enid later." wednesday commanded.

wednesday and vince walked to the dorm restroom and when they arrived she handed him a towel washcloth and soap.

"i'll be right out here vincent." wednesday told him as he walked in.

about three minutes had passed before wednesday heard a loud thud.

"vincent are you alright in there?" wednesday yelled, but got no answer.

wednesday quickly ran into the bathroom and saw vincent on the floor unconscious. she quickly covered him with a towel and as she was finishing he came to. it had all clicked in wednesday's mind, he inherited her psychic abilities and was having a vision.

"is everything alright, what did you see!" wednesday pressed the child.

"nothing, it was nothing." vincent lied.

"do not lie to me, i can tell when your father is lying and i can tell when you are as well!" wednesday scolded.

"i saw the future, you and dad are still in trouble, were supposed to stop something but we don't know what it is." vincent said starting to cry.

wednesday consoled vincent until he calmed down, surprisingly she wasn't enjoying the pain of someone else. she decided she would pull her chair next to the stall while he finished his shower. once vincent brushed his teeth they returned to their dorm.

"hey vincent up for some more movies?" enid asked excited at his return

"no thanks aunt enid, i think i just wanna go to bed." vincent said still very visibly upset.

enid gave the boy a hug sensing his change in demeanor since he'd left the room .

"sleep tight vinny, don't let the bedbugs bite. hopefully we hang tomorrow." enid said before releasing him.

wednesday watched the whole exchanged disgusted by it all, it made her happy to know she wasn't changing completely.

"goodnight vincent, i hope you have enjoyed your first day here." wednesday said softly.

"what's not to like, i love it here." vincent exclaimed.

wednesday froze at his words, reminding her of last semester and her chat with xavier at the police station.

"are you ok mommy?" vincent asked laced with concern.

"i'm fine, you just remind me so much of your father." wednesday said zoning out.

"i take that as a compliment daddy is awesome!" vincent was flashing a toothy grin.

"your father is a very good person, now time for bed." wednesday monotoned.

vincent jumped up and gave wednesday a huge hug and this time she immediately reciprocated it.

"i love you mommy." vincent said giving her a kiss on the cheek and doing the same to enid.

wednesday had gone way past her limits today with physical contact, but when vincent hugs her or kisses her on the cheek or calls her mommy, it gives her the courage to do anything. these children were growing on her. vincent had hopped into bed and was fast asleep pretty quickly. she decided to catch up on her writing until enid was ready to go to sleep. twenty minutes had went by and enid had been on her phone and wednesday was still writing when vince began to stir. it gained the attention of both girls.

"is vinny ok?" enid asked with a slight hint of fear.

"i'm sure it's just a nightmare, he's quite the lucky child." wednesday responded trying to hide her worry.

"wednesday he looks like he's struggling to breathe!" enid screamed.

"ok, enid take him to the infirmary, i'll get xavier, go now!" wednesday commanded.

wednesday had opened the door and took off for xaviers dorm. she'd tried to push her fears to the back of her mind, but by the time she arrived to xaviers dorm she broke down in tears. she was still able to knock on the door, and when xavier opened it the site he saw scared him and broke his heart.
