"it's time." older wednesday stated.

the older woman then turned to her husband. "i am letting you come, but you stay in the car! i am serious xavier stay in the car!

"no worries my love, we're on the same team." he stated rubbing her shoulders.

"can we go already, you two disgust me and i don't like seeing my best friend on a leash." wednesday said glaring.

the older couple laughed at the young girl, if only she knew how much she would change. the group walked out of nevermore with enid on a leash and loaded xavier's suv. in no time the were on the road. the ride was short and older wednesday found herself pulling into the driveway of a house.

"it's tyler's old home."

they heard a scream come from inside the house and that was enough for the group minus xavier, to spring into action. they quickly rushed the home with xavier kicking the door down. when they entered they saw a half morphed tyler attacking vincent with a distressed looking morticia crying next to him.

"last chance child, what is your mother planning?" tyler asked not noticing the group who just entered the home.

"she's planning on killing a heartbroken hyde, that would be you." older wednesday stated drawing the attention of everyone.

tyler released the child and turned to the group, he stared at them for a moment before laughing cynically.

"you think you can beat me, that little puppy won't save you this time." he said earning a growl from enid.

wednesday released enid from the leash and she rushed tyler catching him off guard and vulnerable since he was only half morphed. older wednesday rushed to the children while her younger counterpart went to provide enid some help.

vincent smiled as his mother untied him. "mommy! we've missed you."

"mommy's missed you two, my little strong man." the older woman smiled wrapping the young boy in a tight hug, she soon repeated the same actions with morticia and ushered them to the car.

back inside tyler had fully morphed and he was really giving enid the business, xavier and wednesday were attempting to assist with arrows but it wasn't doing any good so wednesday pulled out her dagger.

"wednesday, theres no way you're going to actually approach this fight?"

"enid needs my help."

"wednesday-."

"no xavier, she saved my life and i won't let her lose it because of me!"

with that wednesday rushed the two supernatural beings attempting to stab tyler but he was one step ahead and wednesday was slashed and thrown across the room. this gave enid just the fuel she needed as she jumped back onto tyler and pinned him down. xavier quickly rushed over with his squirt gun and landed a perfect shot straight into his mouth. tyler immediately went limp and stopped moving. xavier immediately rushed over to wednesday picking her up bridal style and rushing outside screaming.

"start the car! wednesday's been hurt."

he quickly got to the car enid trailing him and opened the back door gently putting her in the car before letting enid in and getting in himself. his older counterpart started the car and began flooring it. xavier was distressed blaming himself.

"it's not your fault xavier, you couldn't have stopped her."

"you don't know that!"

"i do though xavier, it's just in my vision the roles were reversed."

"what do you mean the roles were reversed?" older xavier asked.

"in my vision, younger xavier rushes to the defense of enid and takes an injury, but when i look to my left you were fading and that terrified me."

"i'm right here my love, i'm not going anywhere"

"ok that answers that, but why aren'y you fading?" younger xavier asked.

"because wednesday isn't dying, she's just unconscious."

the boy took a sigh of relief and sat back holding his girlfriend as they rode to the hospital.

it's a full day later and wednesday has been checked into the hospital, enid has changed back, and the police have declared tyler dead. xavier, enid, and the older versions and the children are all in her room. xavier hasn't left since she was admitted.

"xavier, you need a shower. how about you go home, wednesday will be fine." enid said feigning concern.

"no, i'm not leaving her side."

"i must say i agree with enid, you smell quite unpleasant." a newly awakened wednesday stated.

they all turned to her in excitement, xavier giving her the biggest hug followed with a kiss. vince also tackled her in a hug and even tish came over and gave her a hug. older wednesday and xavier were stunned.

"did tish just give someone a hug?" the older man asked.

"it appears our younger selves seemed to make strong bonds with the kids."

"wow."

older xavier walked up and put a hand on his younger self's shoulder. "it's only been a day, stop making us look like a lovesick puppy."

"that's rich coming from you with all your my loves and cara mias." the younger boy mocked.

"one thing we can agree on is that we love our cara mia more than life itself."

"agreed."

wednesday had been released from the hospital and it was time for their future visitors to depart. they were starting to say their goodbyes.

"bye aunt enid, i'll miss our movies, bye daddy, and bye mommy i love you so much." vince said wrapping wednesday in a hug, she returned with no hesitation.

"goodbye my little strong man." she said giving him a kiss on his forehead shocking everyone.

she then turned and opened her arms for morticia and slowly but surely the young girl came in to join the hug.

"believe me now mother?"

"i think i do, i'll miss you my loves."

"don't worry mommy we're your future."

wednesday smiled absolutely in love with the idea.  "my future."
