"guys i don't mean to interrupt this sweet moment, but weems is missing a finger." xavier panicked.

"ok, so what?" enid questioned.

"sound familiar?" xavier rhetorically asked.

"of course, tyler is back!" wednesday shouted.

"but why would he kill principal weems?" enid asked.

as she finished the question, fear flashed across her face.

"wednesday, i don't think he wanted to kill weems, i think he wanted to kill me." enid squealed starting to hyperventilate.

"enid do not worry, i can assure you nothing will happen to you." wednesday reassured.

"guys, what are we gonna do with the body?" xavier asked.

"since weems is already dead to the public, let's just get rid of it to avoid uncomfortable questions." wednesday said.

"several bodies have been found that looked to be mauled by an animal of some sort—."

enid shut the tv off and started to have one of her signature panic attacks.

"why don't we just kill the hyde already?" morticia asked annoyed.

"it's not that simple tish, mommy and daddy said do not underestimate him, he comes back stronger than ever." vince replied.

"you may be weak, but i can take him." tish replied.

"shut the hell up!"

"hey, the both of you quit it right now, or you both will be grounded!" wednesday intervened.

wednesday had been silent trying to figure out a plan, but she couldn't deal with the children's arguing. she was slowly losing it, since all dorms were on lockdown, and lunch and dinner was being delivered to rooms.

"mommy tish hit me!" vincent screamed.

"that is it! the both of you go to sleep, now!"

wednesday was fuming, she was vey used to her quiet time and with two children that was quite impossible. the children were trying to start up again when there was a loud knock on the window. it startled wednesday, but she reacted quick and ushered the kids to the back of the room. she slowly approached the window and for the first time in a long time she was scared. she quickly swung the window open and stepped back to take her fight stance. her fear was replaced by warmth and joy when xavier came rushing in wrapping her in a huge hug and kiss.

"i've missed you so much." xavier said breaking the kiss.

"i missed you too, and though she won't admit it i think morticia missed you as well." wednesday responded nuzzling her head into his chest.

"please don't project on me mother, because you've been unbearable because you haven't seen our father in two days." tish responded.

"oh and when you leave, take that one with you."
wednesday mumbled in his chest.

"woah woah, what's got my two girls so riled up."

"mommy and tish have been more mean than usual." vince replied.

"oh and what about you little man what have you been up to?" xavier asked vince.

"i watched tons of movies with aunt enid, and daddy don't be mad . . . but i just said a bad word before you got here." vince said looking down in shame.

"don't you worry about that little man, just don't say it again."

"what brings you by xavier?" wednesday questioned.

"i had a feeling my two girls weren't going to be getting along for too long, so i came to get tish."

xavier stayed and watched a movie, before deciding he needed to get back before it got too dark.

"hey babe, maybe you could try a call or facetime so we see eachother when we're forced to be apart." xavier said getting up and giving her a kiss goodbye.

"i'll consider, i'll miss you." she said bringing him in for a hug.

"come on tish, time to go." xavier said.

tish got up and stared at her mother before continuing to walk. as she stepped towards the window she stopped.

"goodbye mother, we may not get along but today i was disrespectful and i wasn't raised to be disrespectful, i apologize." she said while also walking towards wednesday and wrapping her in a hug.

wednesday was shocked and it took her a few seconds before hugging back. she had hugged vince, but tish reminded her more of herself, not really needing physical contact.

"it is quite alright morticia, you be good and don't give your father any issues." wednesday said breaking the hug.

"of course mother." and with that they left.

"that was adorable wednesday, you're like such a good mom, always looking out for your children." enid squealed.

enid's words opened up something in wednesday's mind about how terribly she's treated her own mother this past year.

"i think i should call my mother." wednesday said.
