VIOLET TACKLED NATASHA IN A HUG THE SECOND SHE STEPPED OFF THE JET. The woman stumbled back, being caught off guard by the teenager as she laughed and returned the hug.

"Missed me, huh?" The redhead entertained.

"You said you would be back in less than a week! It's been nine days and you haven't called!" Violet scolded, pulling away. Natasha looked physically fine, with the exception of a cut on her forehead that had been cleaned and patched up. She was clean, makeup applied, bodysuit looking good as new, not a hair out of place among the perfect curls on her head.

"I'm sorry, Red. We had to go off the grid for a few days," Natasha apologized sheepishly as the two began making their way into the compound.

"You could have called to tell me!" Violet exclaimed, her Russian accent shining through as it always did when she raised her voice.

Natasha started to smile at the angry girl.

"What? Why are you smiling?" The younger of the two demanded.

Natasha shook her head. "No reason."

"Tell me! Right now! What is so amusing to you about how worried I was?" Violetta stopped in her tracks, stepping in front of the taller woman and coming face to face with her.

"You just remind me of Yelena more and more as you get older," Natasha smiled, reminiscing of the blonde the two grew up with as a sister.

Violet was caught off guard. Natasha didn't talk about Yelena often. Or at all, for that matter. The only time she would come up in conversation was when Violet would bring her up, asking questions or reminiscing about the times the trio had as children. Violet had been somewhat envious of the bond the older two had when they were young since she was so much younger than them both, Violet being almost eight years younger than Yelena, who was only five years younger than Natasha, but as they grew older, the three treated each other like sisters.

She blinked once. Twice, and shook her head before finally replying. "I do?"

"Every day."

"Stop making this all sappy to make me forget how mad at you I am," Violet playfully scolded as the two continued making their way inside the tower.

"Oh, by the way, you suck," Natasha swapped the subject.

Violet laughed, confused. "Why?"

"Because you look way better with short hair than I do!"
