Y/n's POV
I've always been insecure about my scar on my face. My dad when I was younger gave my a scar from my eyebrow to my cheek. I have to wear a mask and make my hair cover the eye part of the scar. None of the avengers questions me which is good. "Everyone we have a new avenger Kate bishop everyone" I look at her and smile under my mask and we keep eye contact.
The meeting ends and I go to my room and take a shower and relax with my mask on of course because what is someone comes in.
Kates POV
I sit at the kitchen island and talk to Wanda and Natasha. "Hey Umm I have a question well two actually" They stop and listen. "So who is that girl with the mask and why does she wear it all the time?" They nod and say. "Well that's y/n l/n" Wanda says. "We never questioned why she wears it she just does." I nod and say. "Okay well I'm going to go to my room" they both say bye.
I walk to my room and hear and guitar riff. I look into the room next to mine and lean on the door way and see y/n playing and I stare in an awe. She looks at me and stops. "Sorry for watching I just I love that where did you learn how to play like that" she looks at me and puts down her guitar. "I learned from my mom" I nod and smile. I sit next to her we talk.
3 months later
Me and y/n have been on three dates no kiss or face reveal yet but today is the day. Me and y/n are watching a movie and I look at her and she looks at me. I grab her hair and tuck it behind her ear and I see part of a scar. She looks down and I lift up her face and grab the part of the mask and take it off her ear and slowly take it off.
I see the rest of the scar lightly run my thumb against it. I smile and she glances down at my lips and back up at my eyes. I lean in and we kiss. After a moment we pull apart and she blushes. "I've never showed anyone my face since I was younger" she says and I cup her cheek. "Im glad I got to see it and y/n it's not that bad you look so beautiful even if you didn't have the scar." She rest her forehead on mine. "Im going to get water okay." She nods and I get up and I she grabs my hand and I look back and she doesn't have her mask on and I smile.
We go downstairs. I see Wanda, Nat, Yelena, and Peter in the kitchen. They look at me and y/n and they smile at y/n. "Nice scar it looks so cool I always knew you were a badass but you look like a boss ass bitch slaying the day." Peter says and y/n giggles. "Thanks Pete" she ruffles his hair. "Yeah Kate you got yourself a hot one." Wanda says and Y/n blushes. "Never thought a milf would be saying that about me but thank you but Kate is my girlfriend and-" she stops and whispers in her ear and she high fives her. "Slay girl boss" Natasha says.
We go to the living room and me and y/n cuddle up.
"What did you tell Wanda" she giggles. "That you have nice abs" I blush and she laughs.
"Thank you for taking off the mask for me" I nod and kiss her forehead.
