Y/n POV
I walk into the school forgetting that I had a black eye I walk to my locker and look at every one staring at me. I go into my first hour and sit in the back. Everyone looks at me and I just look straight. I trip and one of the girls says. Vanessa: how's it down there loser. She laughs with her friends and I just get back up and go to my seat. I go to sit down when one of the guys pushes me and says. Jake: this is my seat fatty. I look away and mumble a 'sorry' I sit down near the window and then I feel a paper getting thrown at me. I grab it and open It. Paper: lose weight you freak. I look over and see Vanessa laughing at me. I just put the note in my pocket. Teacher: alright class settle down today we have a new student with us today Brie. She walks in and I just stare at her in an awe. Brie: hello I'm Brie Larson. She introduces herself. Teacher: okay and Brie you can sit next to.... He points to me. Teacher: her. Vanessa laughs and says. Vanessa: really next to the freak. I look down and Brie sits next to me. Brie: hey don't listen to her also what happened to your eye. I just put in my headphones and then halfway into the class I feel a tap on my shoulder. I look up from my drawing to see the teacher. I take off my headphones and say. Y/n: y-yes. Teacher: what's the answer. I look at the board and just sit there. The teacher sighs and Jake says. Jake: it's the note e dummy. Teacher: jake that's enough y/n see me after class. I nod and just continue on drawing. The bell rings and I stay after. Teacher: y/n you used to be the best in my class what happened. I shrug and say. Y/n: I don't know. Teacher: I'll let you do this I'll let you write a song and preform it for everyone okay. Y/n: can't I just sing it to you. I mumble out. He shakes his head and says. Teacher: just please I want you to pass okay. I sigh and nod. I walk to my next class and just sit there listening to music and not giving one single fuck about life.
Brie's POV
I go to lunch and I already have friends. I look outside to see that one girl out side sitting near the trees. Vanessa: Brie ignored her she's justa freak okay. Lisa: yeah also I heard she's going to sing I first hour. Jake: what a loser I bet she sounds like a donkey. I frown and just leave. I walk outside and sit next to her. Brie: hello cutie. She blushes but hides it I smile and lay my head on her shoulder. Brie: it's cold out huh. She gets up and takes off her jacket and puts it around me. I smile and she smiles at me. And god her smile is so cute. She looks down and continues writing something in her note book. Jake: wow Brie you could have been with me but your with the fatty freak. I get up and push jake. He slaps me and I fall down. Teacher: hey jake principals office now. He walks there but spits on me. Y/n: that's it. She jumps on him and punches him. The teacher takes her off him. He takes him to the office. She kneels down to me and wipes the spit off of me. I hug her and she flinches. Brie: hey I'm not going to hurt you. She nods and hugs me. Vanessa: thanks a lot freak you got my boy definitely off the foot ball team. She walks away and she holds me. Brie: I'll see you later y/n. She smiles and I kiss her cheek and walk away.
Time skip a week first hour
Y/n POV
I sit down and play with my rings. Brie and I have gotten closer and I took her out on a date twice last week and she sits next to me and grabs my hand and I smile at her. Jake: gross Brie's with the freak. I look at him and he flinches. I smirk then Brie kisses my cheek and sits on my lap. Teacher: Brie find your seat. Brie: well I am sitting aren't i? I giggle and kisses her cheek. Teacher: young love.....gross anyways y/n your song. I gulp but then Brie kisses my head and goes up with me. I open my computer and give Brie one of the mics.
Brie: feels like we're on the edge right now

My dad stares at me and the teacher stops me and Brie. Teacher: y/n out side now. I gulp and get up and walk out. My parents and the teacher comes out. Dad: y/n we never did anything like that. I scoff and just go back in and grab my bag. Vanessa: byeee loser. She laughs and I just stand there. I turn around to face her. She slaps me. And I just stand there. Vanessa: what are you going to do about it freak? I clench my jaw and just stare at her. I grab her by the neck and punch her. I walk out and just leave the school. Brie: wait. I just ignore her and just leave.
