While I was skating my way to school, I heard a familiar sound of wheels follow behind me.

"Took you long enough."

I spoke sourly to the girl who appeared on my side.

"I was with my mom. She said to not follow you because you're a bad influence, I shouldn't be friends with you, blah blah blah. The usual."

I smiled at the thought of her mom saying that. Most mothers hated me. I am perfect 'dont touch my child!' material.

"Alright. I'll let it slide this time. Moving on to a new topic, there's new kids."

"What?!"

She screeched loud enough that Canada could probably hear her.

"Yeah, some triplets I think. They're from Boston though. Bad rep already."

She nodded, disgusted at the thought of Boston kids. We both hate new people, simply because they're gross. Especially if they're from some big city, eugh.

"Hopefully they're not as snobby like, 'oh I'm from Boston! I say orange like ARAnge and live with rats but I'm still better than everyone!'."

"Yeah, remember Casey? That bitch was from New York and she was the snobbiest-"

Police cars zoomed by us with their sirens blaring. Bailey and I gave each other a shared look then pushed our feet on the ground, going as fast as we could to follow the mass amount of cars. They lead us to Casey's house.

"Speak of the fucking devil."

There were news reporters and first responders everywhere. We watched as there was a body getting dragged away into an ambulance. The bag the body was held in was drenched in blood. The cops came up to us once they finally noticed we were there.

"What're you two little ladies doin' here?"

"This is our best friend Casey's house, is everything ok?"

I lied straight to their faces. He sighed, getting ready to say something bad. Bailey and I fist bumped secretly as the cop started to explain what happened.

"I'm sorry to say this girls, but your friend was murdered last night. I don't have many details myself, even if I did I can't tell you much."

Both of our eyes widened. We shared a look that said 'oh shit...' The cop looked at us for a response. Bailey started to cry in order to amuse him. I pretended to comfort her, rubbing her back telling her it'll be ok. The cop sent us a smile and walked away awkwardly. I took a good look at the crime scene again before we both turned around laughing our asses off as we continued to skate to school.

"No way that bitch died. No- She was murdered! I need to find this person and thank them!"

She laughed and nudged my side.

"Ok whatever, but did you see the way the cop looked at me when I started crying!"

We both laughed even harder, losing our balance a little.

"I seriously thought he was gonna start crying too!"

"Right!"

People watched as we passed by laughing. Mainly old ladies judging us but there were a couple others. Noah joined us when we finally ended up passing his place.

"Not riding with daddy today pretty little rich boy? Did he have to go buy you another private jet?"
