Tw: underage drinking, alcohol,
========================================"Should we invite Alahna?"
My younger brother asked as we both awkwardly sat in our living room.
"No clue."
I mumbled. He scoffed, standing up to start yelling.
"Chris-"
"No, Matt. If you're going to act all bummy that we killed our friend then leave. You signed up for this so if you're going to back out, go straight back to Boston and clean yourself up."
"That's big talk from you buddy. I was the one to murder her!"
"Who do you think murdered Nate and Justin?!"
The house went silent.
That was him?
No,
It couldn't have been.
Was it him?
"I thought-"
"Yeah, it was me. We Nate and I had a huge argument and I lost it. Justin walked in and I was scared so-"
His breath hitched and his eyes watered.
"I'm the reason we are who we are. I had to be the dumbass who killed someone. So if you want to back out then go. Because these are the sacrifices we make Matt."
I nodded, rubbing his shoulder. I was ready to comfort him, until he started laughing mechanically.
"You thought killing Madi was bad! I killed our brother and it just flew over my shoulder!"
I scrunched my eyebrows and started to back up. He looked at me with devilish eyes, lifting his head to smile. My heart raced and my eyes widened.
"Aw, things not going as planned, Matt?"
I heard from upstairs. I looked to see Alahna slowly walking down the stairs.
"Alahna-"
"How do you think your idiot brother got away with everything so easily? You know he can't pull these things off by himself."
She wrapped her arm around my brother and scruffed his hair up.
"Does Nick know?"
"I know everything Matthew."
I heard from behind me. I turned sharply to see my oldest brother leaned against the wall. This whole setup, it's familiar. Too familiar.
"Matthew, Matthew, Matthew! So clueless!"
Chris chirped. I looked around at everyone, fearing what's to come.
"Guys- you aren't going to-"
"Going to what? KILL YA?!"
Chris lunged towards me, making me jump backwards. Nick grabbed my shoulder from behind. I turned around, throwing myself away from them.
"We knew you couldn't do this from the beginning. I guess it's our fault for believing in you."
They all started walking closer, making my escape space smaller.
"No- No I can do it! Please guys! This is bullshit! I've been with y'all since the beginning!"
Nick paused, making the others follow suit. He smirked at them, giving a secretive nod.
"Then prove it. Kill all three of the originals."
My world stopped as they all smirked. The silence was loud. We all waited for my response.
"I'll do it."
They all smirked, high fiving as they walked back to the living room.
"Start the car! We don't have long 'til the party begins!"
I looked at them in disgust as they went upstairs to grab the things we needed. I locked myself in the car, not believing the betrayal that just happened. My hands shook and my eyes watered, I could've left, but I can't do anything without my brothers. They're my world. They're all I have. But I'm not all they have.
I saw them walk out so I fixed myself up. Chris put in directions as Nick put something on the aux. I rolled my shoulders and cracked my knuckles to prepare myself for what I was about to do.

Music blasted into my ears as I gave out drinks to random shit faced people. I can't say too much because I was starting to get a little woozy too. I saw Noah from afar telling people to not trash his house more than it already was. Of course they didn't listen. I mean, why would they? Bailey was probably getting laid or something. She's just like that. I watched as Noah gave up and made his way towards me.
"Hey! The Sturniolos should be here soon! They're dropping off our bags so try not to be a dick!"
He yelled over the music. I nodded, giving a lopsided thumbs up. He sighed, fixing it and leaving. Right on cue, the three walked in with Alahna. No Madi though. That's weird.
I watched as they all looked around. Nick took the bags, walking over to the stairs with Alahna and Chris. Matt just stood there like a lost puppy. I laughed to myself, quickly adding him back on Snapchat and sending him a picture of himself. He rubbed the back of his neck, looking up and finally spotting me. He quickly walked through the crowd, getting to my mini bar.
"Hey pretty boy! What brings you here?"
Through the flashing lights, I could see his cheeks turn a reddish color.
"We just wanted to drop off your bags real quick before everything went into lockdown!"
I nodded. I offered him a shot but he declined when he got a text from someone.
"I'll- I'll be back!"
He waved, darting off into the abyss of people. I sighed, going back to my job for the night.
