I walked to the schoolhouse and held my notebook tight. We were lined up by age. 17 and 18 were in one line, 15 and 16 in another, 13 and 14, and finally my group ages 11 and 12, and so on.

I wasn't listening to anything as my eyes wondered a couple of groups over. I saw Snotlout. He spit out a piece of paper at the back of the Chief's son. I wasn't listening to anything. I was wondering if he'd even read the note, I gave him or if he left it on the ground where it fell. It's been 2 years since. He's never tried to reach out to me....Probably because he realized who my siblings were. That's how it normally goes.

Today we got to pair up with someone. We were getting a tour of Berk. We do it every year for the new children. Of course, Tuff and Ruff paired together right away and began plotting all the pranks they could pull on people. Meanwhile I watched as all the Vikings laughed and whispered about me, as they chose their partners for the rest of the year.

'Of course, no one would pick her. She's a Thorston. Must suck to not have a twin that HAS to deal with you.'

'She's nothing but trouble. Just like her Twin siblings.'

I wasn't ashamed of my siblings. Not ever. But-

My thoughts were interrupted when I felt someone grab my arm.

"Miss Teacher, can we have 3 in our group!?" Ruff asked LOUDLY.

"No Ruffnut. You know that. You ask every year."

"Hey, I tried!" She shrugged looking at me.

"Remember what Mom and Dad said. Stay calm." Ruff glared quietly.

"Yeah and remember your exercises. And if you so much as have any pain you come find us Missy!" He pointed in your face.

"I know..."

"PROMISE ME!" He spat in his hand and held it out. So, I reluctantly did the same shaking his hand, and wiping it on my dress right away.

That's when an older girl walked up to me. She was from the group of 15-year-olds. Her hair was long and blonde just like mine. Except hers was much lighter in color. She was tall and thin.

"No partner again?" She crossed her arms aggressively. I shook my head no.

"Well, you have one now." She held her hand out for a handshake.

"I wouldn't...My brother just made me do a Thorston Spit shake." I rubbed the back of my head awkwardly.

"Right- Good call."
