The first day went fairly well. I think that with Astrid around kids were too scared to pick on me. But unfortunately, before I could enjoy my new partner for the year things on Berk began to change...

I spent more time by myself. The Twins ended up having Dragons as pets now. They named them Barf and Belch. I was walking from class by myself. Since Astrid left the school, the kids took it as her abandoning me. It... sucked...

This particular day I was exhausted and didn't want to deal with the nonsense about me being related to the Twins.

"Her parents must hate her. Her siblings are Heroes now. She's done nothing. To think they probably had her hoping she wouldn't be a disgrace."

"If that's the case it didn't work. I mean look at her! No one would Wed her. Especially not in those clothes."

One kid threw an arrowhead at me, the others joined laughing. Some scraped my arms, as others missed. I dropped my books running at them. I grabbed the one Viking by the head flipping him over my shoulder causing me to rip my dress on my sleeve.

"Look, now she's too fat for her clothes!" The students laughed. I got to the arena before everyone else did. I let out a deep breath as I looked around. My heart ached almost like a muscle cramp, I was holding my chest in pain, and I couldn't speak focusing on my breathing.

"How did we end up the first ones here?" I heard a voice echo into the empty arena. I looked up watching as my favorite Dragon Rider walked in. I felt all my worries disappear. The pain still lingering. The dragon snuffed in response. I watched as his black hair shined from the sun hitting it. He had blue eyes just like Crystals. I smiled as he noticed me on the side lines. He joined me for a moment.

"Who are you?" He looked confused.

"You don't remember?" I felt my heart sink into the bottom of my stomach.

"Oh! You're that little girl that likes to write letters. Always got her head in the clouds." I blushed awkwardly.

"Uh-Yah."

"What happened to your arm? I thought the Twins had a tight watch on you?"

"Yeah...Not as much anymore. Some kids threw an arrowhead and ripped my dress. Mom's gonna kill me."

"Here. My Mom taught me everything I know." I couldn't help but panic as he was sitting next to me. He took some of the loose threads and began to sew my sleeve together again.

"Y-you're really good at that..."

"Thanks. Mom thought it would come in handy one day." He paused kicking his feet back. He gestured to my papers.

"What's that about?"

"Oh, just...Ideas for writing." I shrugged.

"Lame. You're such a Feather Head." He rolled his eyes.

"Okay...Snottie...whatever you say..." I said without thinking as he looked in shock.

"Listen kid. Don't act tough when you're not. It won't get you anywhere but trouble." He grabbed my pencil and signed one of my papers that had already had writing on it. "Here take my autograph...It's worth thousands. After all I am the best Dragon Rider, there is." He flexed meeting the others.
