"You're brother is pretty scary, ribbit."

Shoto flinched at Asui's blunt remark, crossing his arms defensively, "No he isn't."

What's so scary about him?

Touya shook his head as they squabbled, a little touched by his brother's blatant bias but understanding where the frog girl was coming from.

I'm surprised she said it to my face though...

He wasn't that mad about it. He figured Shoto's friend would be a little weird, and from what he learned of Asui it fit her to a T.

Can't believe Shoto found someone blunter than him. No wonder they became friends.

He chuckled as he interrupted their discussion, "All right. You two can figure out whether I'm scared or not later. It's time to start training."

Shoto and Asui paused their conversation, looking toward Touya's amused expression with anticipation.

Asui put her finger to her chin, "How are we going to train?"

Touya had them meet by the old shed he and Shoto had squatted in when they first got to Aichi. The place was relatively empty of people that would question why they were training.

Touya gave an evil smirk, "Well I can't start training you until I know what I'm working with. I got a place we can go to once we're ready to do quirk stuff, but for now, I just need a baseline."

Touya had come to learn the importance of pure physical ability after he made his promise to Shoto. He had used the hand-to-hand training he learned under Endeavor to win almost all of his fights in the last few years.

If I'm gonna train them properly, it's best to start there.

He wasn't going anywhere near Endeavor's hell training, but he could make sure they were fit and knew how to use their quirks in a fight.

Speaking of which...

He took out his flip-phone, one of the more recent things he was able to buy, whistling a he looked toward his two trainees.

"All right, It's 4 Am right now. Sun rises at about 6:30 so that gives you two hours to..."

He tilted his head in consideration as he spoke, "Run to your middle school and come back. Once that's done you'll do as many push-ups, sit-ups, and squats as you can before you collapse."

Asui looked at him with wide eyes as Shoto simply nodded.

That isn't that bad.

Touya ignored Asui's confusion and started a timer, "All right. You can start now."

Shoto took off toward their middle school, which was a good 4 miles away, while Asui followed behind him.

Touya watched them take off, feeling a little proud of himself for his training idea.

This should be fun...

...........

Asui considered herself a logical person.

She liked to call things as she saw them, and didn't shy away from saying what was on her mind.

That was why she talked to Sho on the first day, she didn't believe the rumors of his brother being a villain.
