tension filled the air as (e/c) eyes glared at takemichi who was currently hiding behind mikey, who was glaring and tending at y/n's knuckles.

the poor boy had no ill intentions- for real! it just kinda slipped when he and mikey were biking together to the fast-food restaurant.

takemichi still can't get the girl's last words to him.

"I don't wanna cheat."

cheat? cheat on who? does she have a new boyfriend? could it be that he messed up the timeline again and made hanma and y/n meet up earlier than intended?

mikey noticed how tense the guy was, so he decided to ask him what was going on.

"are you alright?"

takemichi sweat dropped behind him, trying to find the words to say to mikey without possibly angering him.

"so uh... you're close to y/n right?" he asked. mikey rose a brow at his question. of course, the male can't see him but he did it anyway.

"y/n? why?"

"you see... she mentioned something yesterday?" this made mikey question him even more. yesterday was a sunday, why was y/n with takemichi?

"you were with her yesterday?" he asked.

shoot! shouldn't have said anything!

"uhh... yeah? we didn't do anything i swear! f/n was outside my house and she drove me to this warehouse where i saw y/n beating up some gang leader and-"

"she was doing what ?"

"don't say anything to the gang. especially mikey!"

how can he mess up so bad?

"did i say something? i meant that she and f/n went to my house for tea!" he tried reasoning, knowing how futile his situation is right now.

he felt mikey tense in front of him. takemichi just knows that he has his scary toman leader face in right now.

suddenly, the motorcycle they were riding jerked left, going in a completely different direction from the restaurant they were supposed to go to.

he felt the bike speed up, making him hold onto mikey for dear life as they sped away.
