tonight was the night that takemichi would put a stop to hakkai's plans and defeat shiba taiju- the black dragon's tenth generation captain.

takemichi can feel his blood rushing as he and chifuyu made their way to the church- where everything will go down.

"y/n's not coming?" the faux blond asked takemichi as he looked around for the female who was absent.

"she said that she has something to do- but will stop by to help out."

the first division vice-captain nodded his head in understanding. since today is christmas eve, it's normal that everyone had plans tonight.

yesterday, december twenty-fourth, takemichi had approached the female for some advice. the two met up at the park- more like the male had to call mikey to tell y/n that he needed her advice right now.

"you broke up with her?"

y/n looked at the blond who looked all beat up- in short he looked like shit in her opinion, but she's still proud that he hasn't burst into tears yet.

"yeah... her dad wanted me to leave her because i'm you know... delinquent."

the female looked at him with a neutral expression- sucking on her lollipop that the male bought as an offering for the young captain.

"that's dumb." this took takemichi by surprise- he should've expected her reply at this point but he also had a small hope that she'll console him as his senior.

"you're dating his daughter, not him- so why would you go out of your way to please a man who'll die anyway?"

"y/n-!"

the (h/c) haired female made a shushing gesture as takemichi closed his lips. even though he'd known hina's father for a day- he wasn't one to talk shit about the man behind his back.

"like think about it- you're the one loving her, isn't that enough?"

"every time she dies, you suck it up and go back in time just to save her- you're in constant pain just to have a future with hina."

y/n stood up as she dusted her pants and coat from the snow that had fallen on them. small puffs of smoke left her mouth as the cold kissed her cheeks.

"and you're dumb for telling her that you found someone else." her (e/c) eyes softened at takemichi as she shuffled his head, watching the snow fall off them.

"right now, hina thinks that you've broken up with her for another bitch- it's best to give her space." takemichi looked at the female as she placed her hands inside her coat pockets.

her eyes looked up at the moon with a smile as she gave takemichi a grin.

"i'll talk to her, so focus on tomorrow's showdown."
