Chapter Three

3rd person POV, Ritz Cracker

Fitz could tell that there was something going on between Sophie and Keefe. Were they- no. he couldn't think about it. Every night, he had to convince himself that she didn't break up with him just to go and date his best friend. If she did though, he'd find out soon enough. He just had to prove it.

3rd person POV, Biana

Biana now knew for sure that Keefe and Sophie liked each other. It was obvious that Keefe liked Sophie even before, and that was pretty much how everyone could tell.

Since Marella, Linh, and herself were all trying to get them together since the beginning, she talked to them (not about them kissing, dating, or even just confessing; she was told not to tell anyone) about arranging a slumber party, where they could confess to everyone. They all strongly agreed to leave Fitz out of it, because he and Sophie had only broken up a few weeks ago, and they all knew what he could be like. She hailed Sophie on her imparter to invite her.

3rd person POV, Sophie

Sophie was chatting with Dex on her imparter when it rang.

"Sorry, I'll be right back." she told Dex.

She answered, and Biana's face appeared on the screen.

"Hey Soph! I'm having a slumber party tonight, you wanna come?" Biana asked.

"Sure, who's coming?" Sophie asked.

"Hmmm... let's see... Marella, Linh, Dex, Tam, Keefe, and you!" she answered.

"What about Fitz?" Sophie asked.

"He's locked himself in his room and is ranting to himself again." Biana explained.

"What sort of things are we going to be doing?" Sophie wondered. She could see Biana grinning.

"Oh, just some human games! You'll probably know them!"

"Ok... see you there!" said Sophie, suspicious.

Everglen

Everyone had started arriving. Dex, Tam, Linh and Marella were already there, and Sophie and Keefe were on their way.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door, and Sophie arrived. Minutes later, Keefe got there.

"Great! Since everyone is here now, I guess we can start the games!" Biana exclaimed excitedly. They all went up to her room, and started a game of Truth or Dare. Biana went first.

"Truth or Dare... Sophie!"

"Truth." she decided.

"Why did you break up with Fitz?" Sophie could feel her face heating up.

"Well... I felt like it was more the type of relationship that I was more forced into and had no control over." Sophie said slowly.

Everyone looked at her sympathetically, even Tam, who cared the least about relationships.

"Well, then you did the right thing breaking up with him." said Linh.

"Yeah, but you're ok now, right?" said Biana. It was less a question and more a reassurance. Keefe said nothing, but him wrapping his arm around her shoulder was just enough for her.

"Thanks for being here for me." Sophie said softly.

"Well, it's your turn now." Marella reminded her.

"Oh, right," she almost forgot.

"Truth or Dare... Tam!"

"Dare, obviously!" he exclaimed.
