The rest of the day was pretty uneventful. SK just discussed some trivial things like RRR and others with the two girls, ate dinner and dozed off. He had to attend classes the next day.

SK woke up the next day at 5:00 AM and was shocked to find out that neither Hope nor Josie were present in the room. He figured that the girls were weird anyway and must have been off to do some weird shenanigans.

He changed into his sports hoodies, track pants and sports shoes, and went jogging.

With Kabadi from Ghilli blaring in his earpods, he casually jogged through the greenery of the campus. The chill air of the early morning was relaxing for him.

But suddenly, out of nowhere, a white wolf popped up in front of him. But instead of running for his life, he found himself moving closer and closer to it. The eyes of the wolf were golden yellow and with the sun yet to rise, the animal looked beautiful.

"Hi, wolfie!" SK smiled at it.

The animal just stood majestically. It did not hurt him. So at least that part was clear. But his mind still wondered how there was a wolf on campus.

It suddenly turned back and within seconds disappeared from his eyes.

SK just shrugged and jogged back to his room in the direction in which he came. This place and people were weird for sure.

Meanwhile, in the woods, Hope reached Josie and shifted back to human form and conjured up her torn clothes back magically on herself.

"Hope, what was that?" Josie asked Hope.

"What was what?" Hope feigned fake innocence.

"You know, you standing and looking at our roommate in your wolf form, Hope!" Josie was incredulous.

"Relax Josie! It's not a big deal. I won't get caught next time." Hope promised, but SK looked different in his sportswear. No, she was not going there. She already had the whole heartbreak stuff with Landon. No, just no.

Josie clenched her fists as she could not believe her friend, but she resigned. "Alright, let's rush back to our rooms."

Hope carried Josie and Vamp sped and opened the room with her key as it was locked.

Hope and Josie opened an empty bottle, after which she collected all the sweat from her and Josie telekinetically and then went back to sleep.

Several Minutes later, SK arrived and found the room open with Hope and Josie sleeping.

'Huh, that was weird.' he thought to himself. He would have pondered more but getting involved in girls business never ended well, so he just decided to take the best course of action and ignore the weirdness.

SK then proceeded to shower in the attached bathroom, cleaned himself, and changed up.

While he initially thought of sharing about the wolf he saw this morning, he did not want to terrify the girls and cause unnecessary panic. Besides, the wolf was not harmful (at least to him).

He then just meditated and basically relaxed until the classes started.

Meanwhile, in limbo

The man and the two girls were walking through a forest when the brunette piped up again.

"So, why do we want to kill this tribrid?"

"She humiliated me! More than Ten Thousand years of existence and she humiliated me!"

"Whine some more, why don't you?" The brunette now taunted the man.

He now quickly sped over and choked her.

"Katherine! Do You think you can taunt me?" He now slammed Katherine into a tree as he choked her neck using his right hand.

"There's no use in fighting among us. We've got to stay focussed on the mission" The black-haired girl played peacemaker.

The man continued glaring at Katherine, which she returned in kind.

After a minute, his hands left her neck. Katherine scratched the spot where her neck was crushed not even a moment ago in agony.

"So what's your story?" Katherine quizzed the girl as her voice came out in a croak.

The black-haired girl just gave her a look which she could not place. She did not want to have another neck-grabbing incident, so she just shrugged.

Tribrid. Tribrid. Tribrid. Where had she heard the name? It did rhyme with hybrid though.

Hybrid. Klaus! That name instilled fury and fear at the same time for her. He was the reason for centuries of her misery.

"Are we talking about Klaus Mikaelson's daughter here?" Katherine enquired. She was not exactly sure and the last time she heard anything was that Klaus had a little baby before Stefan killed her, but that's a story for later.

"Yes!" the man and the raven-haired girl announced in chorus.

"I'm in!" Katherine announced with a determined smirk on her face as she started scheming in her head.
