SK saw that Hope's eyeliner was smudged, and her eyes were pooling with water. He also saw that there was someone on the phone.
"Hope! Who's that?" A man asked over the phone.
SK wondered why the man was using her nickname. Maybe his using the nickname got Hope upset for some reason. His heart broke seeing Hope in tears.
"Hi, I'm SK. Andrea's roommate" He introduced himself.
"Andrea?" Elijah was puzzled.
Hope cleared her throat.
"Uncle, meet SK, SK, meet uncle." Hope forced a smile but ended up gritting her teeth as she cringed internally.
"Caroline, Josie's mom." The blonde vampire introduced herself.
"You look like a younger sister to Josie!" SK returned.
"I'm flattered," Caroline grinned while Hope discreetly wiped her tears.
"So, SK, can we go back to watch the movie?" Josie asked.
"Ok." SK agreed. He decided to confront Hope on her puffy eyes and the 'incident' later.
Hope looked around and decided that she will get better privacy in the washroom. So she went there and put up a silencing spell. Caroline, meanwhile, had left Elijah to give him some privacy with Hope.
"Elijah, how are you here?" Hope asked him.
He explained everything that happened in limbo and how Landon sent him back to earth. Hearing about Landon made her feel guilty about what had happened in the cinema hall moments ago and she tried her level best not to show, but it showed.
"Hope, what is it?" Elijah asked.
"I'm just processing," Hope half-lied. She was processing yes, but she was also wallowing in her own guilt.
"Hope, I'm going to go to New Orleans and then come to see you soon. May I know why your roommate called you Andrea?"
Hope explained her cover to Elijah, and they decided to come up with a cover name of Daniel Kenner. He was the younger sibling of her dad, so that things made sense.
After finishing her talk with Elijah, Hope went to join her friends. Ahem, friend and whatever he was. But she found that the movie had finished by the time she went to join them.
"Ho-" Josie's eyes widened again, but she corrected herself. "How was the talk with your uncle?"
"It was complicated," Hope shrugged.
SK just kept silent. He wanted to ask something to her, but decided now was not the time for it. He really wasn't sure what could be said.
"So, are we going back to our room?"
"Yes, SK, we are." Hope looked at Josie and gave her the look. "And Josie, we need to talk about something"
The rest of the day was pretty uneventful as SK returned with the girls. Hope and Josie talked about whatever Elijah told the tribrid.
While Josie slept earlier, Hope and SK could not sleep.
"We need to talk," both the tribrid and the human said at the same time together.
In Limbo,
Blood Pooled out of the eye, ears, nose and mouth of the great Katherine Pierce. While she was almost about to faint, she felt like an energy coursed through her. Her vision went blue for a second and she almost felt revitalised.
"What did you do?" She asked Ken.
"I made you the new ferryman! You can now take us back to earth and we can set our revenge plans in motion," Ken informed her.
"Uh, uh, not so soon. I have some plans after which you can continue with your revenge fever dream," Katherine sassed.
Ken seethed, but Inadu just smirked. "Ken, you'll like her plans. Believe me."
"Ken," Katherine directed a haughty look at Ken as she added, "I can remove people from peace and put them back on earth, right?"
"Yes, as this is a boon and not a curse, you are free to do whatever you please," Ken clarified.
Katherine just smirked. She knew just the thing to do to enact her own revenge plan for everyone who had wronged her in the past.
Gilbert Residence, Mystic Falls
"Damon, Stefanie, wake up!"
Father and daughter collectively groaned.
"Mom, just 5 more minutes," Stephanie whined.
"Yes, Elena, just 5 more minutes" Damon joined in whining along with his daughter.
"No, Stefanie, your school bus will be here in 10 mins, you've gotta wake up," Elena admonished her.
"Yeah, mom, whatever! You suck!" The little girl whined as he got up and went to the bathroom to brush her teeth.
"Now, man-child, wake up!"
"You wound me!" Damon showed mock hurt as he sat up.
"Morning kiss?"
"Ew, No, gross. Kisses only after you brush your teeth." Elena insulted Damon. Playfully, of course.
After Stefanie was out of the bathroom, Damon went on to brush his teeth.
About 10 mins later, after eating Damon-special pancakes for breakfast, she was off to school on her school bus.
"Now, that morning kiss," Damon smirked.
Elena smiled and went near him and just as he was about to get kissed by his wife, he heard a knock at the front door.
Both Damon and Elena audibly groaned as Damon went on to peck Elena on the lips for a second and was immediately off to open the door.
He went stone-cold after looking at the person outside the door. He never thought he would see this person again in his life, but here he was.
The guest was standing there with teary eyes as he said, "Hello, Brother."
