She smiled and kissed him "yes Shane of course I will be your girlfriend I also like you too" she said as she kissed him again. He smiled at her he knew he was making the right decision because he had to move on because nothing could happen between him and Bridgit.
*Next Day*
Sam and Bridgit went out for some coffee. They entered the cafe when they seen Shane with Samantha and Matt and sitting next to Shane was Danielle. Shane had his arm around her.
Sam looked at Bridgit giving her a sympathetic look. Bridgit forced a smile and just shrugged at her. Samantha got up and walked over to them.
"Hi you guys" Samantha said as she hugged them. Bridgit smiled and waved towards the others. "Why dont you guys join us?" Samantha asked them.
Bridgit and Sam looked at each other. Sam knew Bridgit couldnt be near Shane because she was so confused. "We actually cant Im sorry we just came to pick up coffee because we have somewhere else to be" Sam lied.
"Oh okay maybe next time then" Samantha said and headed back to the table. Sam and Bridgit walked over to the line to order their drinks. Bridgit smiled at Sam "Thank you" she told her.
Sam nodded "Anytime" she said. After a while of waiting they finally got their coffee and walked out. They returned home and talked all afternoon. "Are you okay?" Sam asked Bridgit. Bridgit nodded "yea of course its for the best theres just to much history between Shane and I that it would have been to hard for us to work out again" Bridgit said.
*Next Day*
Bridgit was going to hangout with Samantha. They had gone to a coffee shop and had ordered and now sitting down. "I always thought my brother and you would have gotten back together" Samantha blurted out.
Bridgit was quiet for a minute. "Your brother and I are only friend" Bridgit said. Samantha just nodded "im sorry if I madeyou uncomfortable but its just that you and my brother were so cute together" she said.
Bridgit nodded "Its okay but we didnt work out Im just happy were friends" Bridgit told her. So they didnt talk about Shane anymore. After they finished they agreed to get together during the weekend because Bridgits parents were going to do a bbq.
Before Bridgit went home she had to go to the recording studio because they had some fantastic news for her. "So your going to be on tour during this summer and not only that but you get to choose your opening act" the producer said.
Bridgit thanked them and headed home. She couldnt help but smile because she knew who she wanted now the only problems was asking...
