"Ba't ang tagal mo," napaangat ako ng tingin ng marinig ang malamig na boses ni Drayton. Nakita ko itong nakapamulsa at nakasandal katapat ng pinto ng library.
"Sorry, isinoli ko pa kasi ang kinuha kong libro," nakangiting sabi niya dito.
"Excuses," mabilis na lumapit ito sakin at hinawakan ang aking kamay. Napapitlag ako ng maramdaman ang hawak nito sakin, his touch always feels electrifying para ako nakukuryente lage and for me this is a bad sign and I'm not stupid not to know what's going on with me and that is not good.

No....Drayton alone is trouble. He's a walking distraction and a big temptation to everyone most especially to me.

I remember when we we're still in highschool, we're the same year level I think nasa 2nd year kami non when I met him in the cafeteria. Bagong lipat lang ako sa school na yon and on my first day nakilala ko agad siya. Bigla itong tumigil sa tapat ng pinagkainan kong table.
"Hey you, from now on you're going to be my friend and I want you to stick with me always...and if you have a boyfriend right now break up with him or else I will kill him," nakanganga lang ako non habang nakatingin dito. At first akala ko talaga may sira sa utak 'tong lalaking to, and from that day on hindi na ako nito nilulubayan. Wherever I go nandoon din siya, palaging nakikipag-away sa mga lalaking nagtatangkang manligaw sa akin.
I tried to stay away from him but he gave me no chance. Hindi siya pumayag, there was this one time na gumawa ito nang gulo sa buong paaralan. Sa galit nito na hindi ako nito mahanap dahil pinagtataguan ko ito, pinatunog nito ang fire alarm kaya nagdulot ito nang panic sa buong paaralan. Nang malaman nang mga school staffs na wala naman talagang sunog ay hinanap nila agad kung sino ang may gawa, but to everyone's surprised Drayton stepped up and admitting the crime he did without a blink of an eye. Matalim ang mga titig nito sakin habang may ngisi sa mga labi.
"I can't find Deborah so I had to do it," nakangising sabi nito when they questioned them why did he do it. He almost got expelled but maimpluwensiya pala ang pamilya nito. His parents are both business tycoons and they are unimaginably wealthy. His parents talked to me at ibinilin nila sakin ang anak nila. Drayton also blackmailed me na if iiwasan ko daw siya ulit he will do worst at ako naman si tanga nagpauto.
From that day on, hindi na ito umaalis sa tabi ko palagi itong nakabuntot sakin hanggang sa nasanay na ako sa presensiya nito. Until that day came, I will never forget that heartbreaking day of my life.
It was Friday afternoon, when I decided to confessed my feelings for him, I knew in myself that I've started to developed my feelings to him. I don't know when it started but I just woke up one day that I already feel this kind of feeling towards him. I know that he already told me that I can't like him but how can I stop myself in liking him when he is so sweet to me, he protects me everytime I'm in trouble, his always there whenever I need him and because of that I thought he has feelings for me too. I can see how much he cares for me I can see it right through his eyes. Maybe he was just shy to tell his feelings for me. If he can't do it then I will.
