You sighed sinking into the beaten couch in the main room stretching your limbs in relief after completing your homework, honestly professor trein sets far too much and you got double because grim wouldn't shut up, speaking of grim he was still trying to complete his homework and trying to no avail to get the ghosts to help him after you told him that you weren't going to help him. You laughed at them and wiped away a fake tear as they just frowned tugging at their collars "you guys are welcome to stay but you're gonna have to talk to riddle tomorrow ok?"

He was about to argue before deuce sneezed making you all laugh "I'll go make some tea"

You walked into the kitchen and flipped on the switch to the kettle, grabbing three teacups and standing on your tiptoes to reach the teabags "fucking ghosts" you mumbled under your breath, being short was a curse and they took pleasure in reminding you

Footsteps came in behind you, you thought it was one of the ghosts and began cursing at them as your fingertips grazed the teabags. A firm body pressed against you and reached above your hand "need a hand" they whispered in your ear, you jumped and almost dropped the teabags
