You carefully entered the dojo where you saw Splinter meditating there in the middle of the room, next to a table. When you came in, one of Splinter's eyes opened and when that eye opened, he signaled you to come and sit down next to him. You sat across from him as he opened both of his eyes and sat on his knees while you sat on your knees as well.
"It seems you have taken quite a liking to my sons," Master Splinter began.
"Of course I have! They have been really nice to me almost like friends that I have never had," you said.
"That's good. Now I wanted to talk to you about something that is important."
"And what is that?"
"You know the Kraang is now after you and I was going to suggest to you that we start some training so in case something bad happens then you will at least know how to defend yourself."
You thought about this for a moment. Unfortunate events had led you here and your parents were killed because of those awful aliens. You knew you wanted to fight those Kraang for doing what they did to your life. That moment, you accepted Splinter's suggestion with a nod.
"Good. You and me will start your training after your nose heals," Splinter said.
"Thank you, Master Splinter," you said looking down at your wrapped nose that was still healing a bit from the incident that happened before. You had almost forgot that even happened since you had already forgiven Raph for it.
Splinter smiled slightly before saying, "Ok, you may go now. I hope you feel better soon."
You then got up from where you sat and you left the room quietly while taking a deep and calming breath as you opened the door to the dojo that was in the lair. When you opened the door, you took a step out of it and closed it. You expected someone to come up to you, but there was no one in the main room.
With that being so, you did not really want to touch anything that was any of the brothers' things, so you just went and sat onto the couch and thought about what you would be doing when you started your training. It worried you if you would do alright in your first day of training.
When you were home and in school, you had always worried if you would do well in things that you do. Most people meaning your family and friends in school told you not to worry over the little things that you worried about, but you still worried about them anyway. This made you start to try and calm yourself down as when you stressed a little, there was a churning feeling in your stomach.
After a few minutes of calming yourself, you were disrupted by a feeling of someone behind you. You turned your head on the couch to see Donnie walking into the room, coming out of his lab. He saw you and a smile came onto his face as he walked towards you. You smiled back.
"(y/n), I was just coming to look for you. I was thinking that it is about time to change your bandages," Donnie said as he stopped in front of where you sat on the couch.
You nodded and followed Donnie as he escorted you to his lab where he told you to sit on a table that was in the side of the lab. You sat there on the table while Donnie went to get a few things out of the other corner of his room. Your mind started to think of things about how your nose would look. This made you really nervous to see how bad the injury was. It started to feel like your nose was going to really hurt again.
Donnie came back over to see your slightly panicked expression. He took one of his three fingered hands and put it on your shoulder. You slightly looked up at him to see his face with a small and calming smile on his face. This made you feel a little better. There was a sudden calmness in your thoughts as you nodded that you were ready for Donnie to take your bandages off.
It stung for a few moments to where you winced a bit in pain. Donnie noticed this after unwrapping the bandage a bit.
"(y/n), its alright. Just look at my face okay?" Donnie said as he tried to calm you a bit.
"Okay," you quietly replied as you slowly moved your gaze to Donnie's face.
You stared at his face as he focused on working on your nose and then every once in a while, looking up at you to see you as calm as you could get without flipping out about your nose. Your gaze almost looked down a few times, but you held back the urge to look down at something that was right on your face.
After a few minutes, you could feel new bandages being wrapped around your nose to fit your wound. Donnie did not even think about letting you see the wound since you were nervous enough already and his face was the only thing keeping you from flipping out or passing out. Your gaze stayed upon his face until he stood up and told you his work was done. You felt as many things have happened, but you of course did not see them because of looking at Donnie's face the whole time.
You thanked Donnie for changing the bandages and you walked back into the main area of the lair so you could sit on the couch without disrupting all of the brother's things.
As you walked in, you thought you heard someone in the room. None of the turtles were in there and Splinter was not in there either. You took a moment to look around the room while staying in place to make sure you did not hear anything else. Then you sat down on the couch while wondering what in the world you had heard if someone was not in there as you thought.
