CHAPTER TWO

Y/N exited the car and walked up to the twins standing on the other side of Tyler

"Why did we take the ferry and not the coast road?" tyler asks
"cause we didn't want to be stuck in the with you for an extra two hours" Y/N says joining into the conversation making Alyson laugh
"Ha-Ha" tyler says

"I'm kidding we have to take the ferry, it's the only way to reach Delos from Fireweed"
"I see. Well, good i don't think my stomach could have taken two more hours of how Alyson handles curves" he turns to Y/N

"I'm sorry, do you want to take over driving when we dock?" Alyson asks
"Nope" Tyler simply said
"Your going to have to get back behind that wheel at some point, you know"
"Look, i put a Fireweed van nose-first in a ditch"
"Hey, at least you missed the porcupine" Y/N says

"I'm guessing things haven't changed much" Tyler asks
"You mean in Delos?Still the capital of East Jesus nowhere" Alyson says
"I can't wait to get out of here" Y/N says tuning out the conversation looking at the view

After looking out at the view and letting the twins talk Y/N noticed Tyler leaving to walk around the boat while Alyson take a call

Y/N follows Tyler wanting to talk to him

"So did Alyson say anything about the ring" Y/N asks 
"You mean the one from Brown? Then yes" Tyler replies "how'd you know about that?"
"I've got one too" Y/N says as she pulls out a chain from under her jumper
"Eddy gave it to be on my birthday just there, says he got them all custom made for us, cause of how close we were growing up"

"Oh happy late birthday" tyler says
"Thanks" Y/N laughs 

Alyson finishes her call and leans against the rails

Y/N and Tyler decide to join her

"Hey again" Alyson says
"Fancy meeting you here" Tyler said looking around

"Hey!, didn't we used to swim on that dock? Wait, no. that was on the lake"
"Oh, uh. They pulled that one out" Alyson says
"What? No man, so many good memories"
"Of pushing us into the lake?" Y/N asks
"Pfft the neighbour kid was the one who pushed you guys all the time"Tyler claimed
"Yeah.." Alyson says
"What's he up to?"
"Bobby? I, uh"
"She dated him" Y/N says "No Way!" "Y/N"
"yeah , she always seems to attract assholes" Y/N laughs
"Another reason why i'm not dating right now" Alyson states

"Alright, we're here. Shall we?" Alyson asks
"We shall" Y/N says walking to the car
"Lets go" Tyler says

They all enter the car, arriving at the docks in Delos and heading toward the twins childhood home

On arriving at the wooden house Y/N makes sure to message her mother as the twins exit the car

Tyler walks towards the a gate stopping to open his arms and spin taking in the air after he lets down his arms, he looks around taking in the land before dragging his hands across the metal gate, opening it it for Alyson and Y/N

After stepping through the gate Y/N closes it behind her before making contact with the house, standing on the other side of Tyler

"Wow. it's basically exactly like I remember it. Only faded" Tyler says staring at the house grabbing Y/N hand 
"Like a polaroid left on a windowsill" Alyson says
"From the outside it almost looks charming" Y/N states
"Charms not the problem, structural integrity? Maybe an issue"

"Do you think theres a chance that whoever buys it will just..Tear it down?"
"If someone buys it.." Alyson starts "they can do whatever they want with it"

"You would care at all? Tyler asks
"Would you?" Alyson asks
"Sure, everywhere I look.. I see a piece of one of our adventures"
"Everywhere i look, i just see her"

"Aly we could go grab a bite, start this tomorrow?" Y/N asks putting a hand on her shoulder
"No, the only way to get this done is to do it" Alyson replies

"After you" Alyson says walking to the bottom of the stairs
Tyler walks up the stairs letting go of Y/Ns hand trying to unlock the door "locked"
"Well, it's a good thing i remembered this" Alyson says walking up behind Tyler holding up the keys then trying to unlock it

"Are you sure that's the right key?" Y/N asks
"Yes" Alyson starts handing the keys to Tyler "maybe someone changed the lock?"

"Who would change the locks on you?" Y/N asks
"I don't know, we're screwed"
"You got a plan B?" Tyler asks Alyson

"Yeah,  we'll find another way in." Alyson replies "I never knew a locked door that could keep the crafty goblins out" Y/N says giggling a little
"Yeah we had millions of ways in and out of this old house. At least one of them's got to work" Tyler states

Tyler walks over to the window closest to the door

"I could break a window" He says
"You know civilized people don't do that, right?" Alyson replies
"Oh, so we're civilized, now?"
"Well, maybe not. but , we are trying to sell this place and broken windows aren't exactly amenities"

"The Crafty Goblins, I haven't thought about them in forever. Or should I say us?" Alyson says while walking down the front steps Tyler and Y/N following
"We almost spent more time as goblins than we did as kids!" Tyler says walking down the front steps

"Oh, do you remember all the other characters?" Y/N asks getting excited
"The moon hag, the ice king, the old bear" Y/N lists some of the characters she remembered
"Most of them, I think. But the details are fuzzy" Tyler says

"Hey do you guys know what happened to the book with all the stories?" Y/N asks
"No, No idea. But i'm sure it'll turn up when we clean this place out" Alyson says

Tyler walks round to the back of the house and tries the side door

"Open sesame"
"Let me guess... its locked" Alyson asks
"Yep.. know any other secret passwords?"
"Hmm.. honeydew.. nope."

"Y/N any ideas of how we're going to get in?" Tyler asks
Y/N pauses thinking of a possible way to get in
"Hmm.. we use to play under the house when we were kids"
"Yeah! we stashed all our goblin treasure down there"
"There was a hatch, right? That opened up into the laundry room?" Y/N says
"There was! I hope i can still fit...i'm a little taller than i was at eleven" Tyler states

Heading towards the entrance now covered with wooden boards, Tyler bends down looking at the boards trying to pry them off

"You need a hand with that?" Alyson asks
"No, its should be fine"
"Okay,,"
"If we just get this board out of the way i could possibly fit through" Tyler says still trying to pry the board
"Okay, so we need something to pry it off?" Y/N asks
"It's screwed in pretty good. We need a screwdriver" Tyler says getting up "i think there should be one in the shed"

"Lets go check" Alyson standing up

Tyler takes Y/Ns hand guiding her to the shed
