CHAPTER FOUR

Tyler looks around the laundry room, grazing his hand across a sled before heading into the main part of the house looking around, Y/N following him taking his hand for comfort also looking around before they hear Alyson

"Tyler, Y/N, you in there?"
"Tyler, Y/N" Alyson says knocking the door
"Coming" Tyler says as they both turn around and walk to the front door, opening it for Alyson

"Are you okay?" Alyson asks
"We'll live. Good to hear your voice again!" Tyler says
"Yeah. Same here"
"So... you coming in or what?" Y/N asks gesturing inside the house
"Just.. working up to it" Alyson says taking a second before stepping through the door

"Well.. we're here" Tyler states
"Here we are" Alyson replies
"So.. how do we get started?" Y/N asks
"We figure out what to keep, what to trash and see what else this house might be trying to show us" Alyson says turning to the pair
"Well I'd like it to tell me why the hell I can hear you guys in my brain" Y/N jokes pointing to her head

They split up, going into different rooms figuring what to; sell, keep, trash. While Y/N sat on the couch not really knowing what to do since it's not her house

"Ew this place needs some serious cleaning" Alyson says
"Or an exorcist" Y/N jokes scrolling on her phone

Tyler walks into the sitting area after looking around feeling something off, Y/N looks up from her phone seeing one of the twins memories

~Memory~

Young Tyler-"mom? About... me joining the hockey team" pausing "mom?"

Mary-Ann-"sorry, what? Not now...maybe next year"

Young Tyler-"But you promised!"

Mary-Ann-"Keep whining and my 'next year' will become a 'never'

Young Tyler-"Can you cut my hair" changing the subject

Mary-Ann-"Your hair is fine"

Young Tyler-"But I want to cut it short. Really short"

Mary-Ann-"What? Look, I'm tired, and busy. Let's talk about this later"

Young Tyler-"You always say that"

~End Memory~

"Mary-Ann saying no to everything made me so pissed"Tyler said
"She was always on edge those last few months"Alyson replies
"Yeah, and completely deaf to everything I was... telling her I needed"
"She pretty much always said no to me too"
"True... But it felt personal with me.."

Y/N stands up from the couch and walks over to Tyler putting a hand on his shoulder

"So... how can I see these 'memories'?" Y/N says making quotations
"I couldn't tell you" Alyson says
"It is strange how you can see them 'cause growing up you couldn't communicate with us using 'our voice'" Tyler says looking at Y/N
"Well hopefully we can figure that out" Y/N says
"Yeah... hopefully"

The Twins continue to search the ground floor figuring out what to do with the furniture before Tyler stops at the dining table, going through papers. finding a letter the three had made for Mary-Ann

"What's that?" Y/N says walking over to Tyler
"a letter we wrote her to apologise for breaking that stupid vase, remember?" Tyler replies
"Bore your kids into good behaviour, great parenting strategy" Alyson says looking at pictures on the wall

Tyler takes Y/N hand then leaves the area and head upstairs

"If you don't come up soon, I'm going to take whatever I want from our bedroom" Tyler shouts to Alyson who was still downstairs
