By now Christmas was over and no sign of Severus blond friend who was still away for a little longer, the good part about it was that some of the scars from the fire had healed mostly by healing potions. Severus had put to good use the gift his friend got him he had carried the notebook ever since he opened the gift, most people were curious of what was inside of the mysterious notebook that he carried especially the group of idiots: the marauders.
"Oi Sniveluss, what's that your diary?" Even after the fact that they "apologized" it was a constant struggle to find a way to avoid them . "Why Sniveluss, I'd like to think your avoiding us?"
"Leave me alone Black" Nothing could save Severus now, he was cornered against a wall in the bathroom. "We just want to know what's in it?" said Sirius pointing at the notebook sticking out of the brunette pocket robe. Severus had two options give up or do something that he might regret even more "its a book.." said Severus opened the book revealing a potions recipe, but Sirius still had his wand pointed at the slytherin "then show me more, I want to learn" it wasn't a calm tone more as a threatening voice an anxious but threatening. "I said show me more" but the wand slipped out of Sirius hand and into Severus eyes nothing came out of the brunette just the sound of Sirius wand hitting the floor "didn't that hurt? AWNSERS ME FREAK!" Sirius took Severus by his hair and smacked Severus face marking his plam on the slytherin pale skin. "Talk you freak!" Severus put his face down and brought his palm to the mark left by Sirius and got his wand out "Go away black"
"Woaw felling brave are we?" Said the Gryffindoor holding his wand pointed to Severus neck "Let's see how brave-"
"Mr Black and Mr Severus I assure distinctly remember telling students that duels are not allowed" Professor McGonagall had spotted the boys wands up and screaming at each other. "This behavior is not appropriate and has earned you both a detention and points taken from both of your houses" now both of the second years jaw drop "But Professor McGonagall we were just having fun!" Yelled Sirius putting his wand away.

Now it was the first day of detention "Hey Sniveluss I think that you deserved a beating for what you did" Surprisingly James and Sirius got detention and the same punishment as Severus "Look at what yer have here, just be glad you don't have it with Filch" After a little while of walking around the Forbiden forest "Severus, wat chu got there?" Said Hagrid pointing at the notebook in his pocket "Oo it was a gift my friend gave me"
"Why what ar lovely gift" most of the time he stuck to the side of Hagrid, not wanting to engage with the two marauders. "Yer wana tell me what's inside?"
"Um it's a... well- its"
"HELP!" Everything stopped as if someone had stopped time it self, all that could ve heard was the scream from the distance and screeching-
